Newest Deterrent Against Illegals Entering The U.S.

Conservatives will dream up fifty thousand reasons to keep people out when the simplest answer to immigration is having actual open borders, which is the true freedom/free market ideal.
You don’t get it. US history shows times we have forced other nations to abide by the free flow of capital. Labor is another matter.

encounters means that Biden is doing his job...and doesn't need Texas to interfere.
up is down. red is black.. gimme a break. encounters under Trump dropped down to the tens of thousands per month after REMAIN

Now they are about 100k for last month. But thats not the true picture.
Biden allows migrants to download an ap, and if they enter thru a port of entry just like the illegal crossers they are not counted as encounters
The best number I could find including those was about 150k last month

it only dropped during the pandemic...because of the pandemic....and probably because he wasn't reporting all of the numbers...which I wouldn't put past him...

The app doesn't just allow you to come through the port of entry....

It says it is impossible to do so...you still have motors and the types of boats they use there are able to be viewed by anyone....it's against federal law for Texas to put anything in the Rio Grande without specific federal permission. One of their boats is 43 foot long and has 4 motors.
"it" is what? please use better english. They use all kinds of craft - "viewed by anyone" is what? they aren't there for stealth

We are not keeping them out. Only trying to get them to obey the immigration laws unlike the people believing they have the right to break our laws even before they step foot in our country.
@Ginger Ale said "legally".
All we have to do is streamlining the process. Then we have more workers and taxpayers.

No I am talking 2019 numbers as well. REMAIN started in Jan 2019 By June 2019, over 12,000 migrants had been returned to Mexico under the policy.[7] By September 2019, 47,000 people had been returned;[14] and 57,000 by December 2019

Mexico added about 28k troops on it's borders as well.. That's why 2020 was so low

Then the Idiot Corrupt Biden comes in and dismantles a secure border

Hmmm.... Sound like a navigable river..... :ROFLMAO:

You tell me to use better English? Use complete sentences and learn to write the word English, first. They are interdiction boats. They have to have high speed capacity. Try traveling to the border sometime so that you aren't talking out of your ass. Why would they want stealth capability (stealth means that they are undetectable)

you dont need a high draft boat for speed. cabin cruisers and skiffs type craft are just fine

that's EPA (clean waters act) purview. we established if Biden wants to dismantle border control he can and has easily done so

LMAO.... Is that what they teach at Trump University Law School?

Here, I'll help you out...

The creation of any obstruction not affirmatively authorized by Congress, to the navigable capacity of any of the waters of the United States is prohibited; and it shall not be lawful to build or commence the building of any wharf, pier, dolphin, boom, weir, breakwater, bulkhead, jetty, or other structures in any port, roadstead, haven, harbor, canal, navigable river, or other water of the United States, outside established harbor lines, or where no harbor lines have been established, except on plans recommended by the Chief of Engineers and authorized by the Secretary of the Army; and it shall not be lawful to excavate or fill, or in any manner to alter or modify the course, location, condition, or capacity of, any port, roadstead, haven, harbor, canal, lake, harbor of refuge, or inclosure within the limits of any breakwater, or of the channel of any navigable water of the United States, unless the work has been recommended by the Chief of Engineers and authorized by the Secretary of the Army prior to beginning the same.

They aren't going to use a cabin cruiser for interdictions..and a cabin cruiser could not travel in the shallow parts of the Rio Grande...there are times of the year you can WALK across the Rio Grande.

They want to be here so badly that they are willing to risk their lives to be here, but let’s put up floating barriers to make even more die.

The cruelty is the point.
People here believe that parents would put their children in danger to get the opportunity to work at shitty jobs. My favorite immigration imagery remains a scene from 'The Day After Tomorrow'.

If our families were in danger we'd be doing the exact same thing.

Loved that part. The shoe was on the other foot.

And you damn right we would - even the ones claiming they wouldn’t.

it's best that you don't ague the point... Federal law is crystal clear as well as our treaty with Mexico... No exception for petulant governors is in either... Will you attend the removal and cry?
Show us.

No problem...

It's also illegal to enter the US without permission.

So the state of Texas is being sued for deterring crime. One more reason to not being proud to be an American.

i found this knee slapping hilarious..especially the " interfere with the federal government's ability to carry out its official duties" part.
Duties? like arrest and deport - oh no not that!
one BP agent said he felt like a travel agent, not a Patrol agent :ROFLMAO:
Agreed. Had this administration been doing their job, deployment of this barrier would not have been needed.

This is on par with this administration appealing the judge's ruling that restrains this administration from censoring American's free speech by social media company arm twisting.

well then airboats -skiffs as I also mentioned. But i have seen flat hulled boats with a cabin. more then just the airboats we use in the swamps of Florida. .. These had props

Anyways the point of all this are the buoys are obviously to be safely navigated by BP craft

that refers to structures, Im not even sure if the Rio is considered a a navigable river of the USA since it's an international border, but that is a all subservient to federal control of the border -which is absolute and why the buoys wont stand.

ANY obstruction….

The Rio Grande is absolutely a navigable river…

How long do you predict they will be in river?

they don't use either of those on the Rio Grande. The shortest boat they use is a 33 ft SAFE boat.
