New Quota of Rounding Up 3,000 Illegals Per Day

Local law enforcement cumulatively makes ~10 million arrests per year or 27,397 arrests per day. 3,000 per day is a drop in the bucket.
That's more than a 10% increase. Are there that many violent, undocumented immigrants? Has there been a 10% increase in the people who will supposedly arresting them? Is there a 10% increase in prison space?

Based upon him being in the country unlawfully.

The law does mandate that aliens be detained, with a few limited exceptions, until a final disposition of their case.

Obviously there isn't enough detention space. Which explains the deal with El Salvador...
Nope

Maybe it's me but Steven Miller is the scariest man in America or what used to be America. He is to Trump what Eichman was to Hitler.
Hitler was trying to remove illegal aliens I thought he was trying to exterminate Jews so that the same thing sending people back to their home country is like exterminating them?

If you wonder why these accusations of being Nazi don't really have any social thing it's because you're making them falsely.
Why 3,000 per day?
Because by the end of his presidency it'll be 4.3 million and that makes a dent
Is that even remotely possible? The mindset of this purge of human beings come from the mind of a mentally retarded maniac who now believe Biden was executed in 2020 and has been a cyborg or robot or some other bizarre creature in the mind of Trump.
They shouldn't be here in the first place.
In our short history this is now the decline and eventual death of democracy.
By preserving it doing what the people want? How does that work? Trump made no bones about it when he was running he wants going to try him do everything he could to stop illegal aliens and deport the ones that are here. The majority of people and the majority of electoral votes went to Trump.

So stopping him would be destroying democracy.
With that said ask why the people and politicians are not objecting to this.
Returning illegal aliens to their home country why would they object?
Have we been socially pacified? Ask also why does Trump dominate the news every single day.
Because newscasters are washed up and have nothing else.
Go online and see his face everywhere. It is an old propaganda trick to saturate the country with news of the leader.
So do you think he's controlling the press?
Look at Russia, China and North Korea as just a few examples of this tactic with pictures of their dictators everywhere you look.
And if this was Russia North Korea or China you would be disappeared for saying that.
This is what democracy looks like running on and getting elected on something that people want.

Biden sold American citizens safety, our taxpayer dollars and allowed human trafficking, child abuse, sex trafficking, drug trafficking, murders, rapes, crimes .......... all of that came with the millions he allowed into the USA in his 4 years

Trump changed everything in 90 days and all of it is better for US citizens and our safety
Ok, explain 1- what obligations the US has under the Refugee Act of 1980, and the Protocol Relating to the Status of Refugees. The former allows anyone in the US or at the border to apply for asylum. The latter prohibits the US from returning people to countries where their lives or freedom would be in danger. 2- How is Biden selling out the US by adhering to these obligations?

Just curious, are you one on the left who claimed and still claims the border wasn't open during Biden's term?
There was no border patrol? Say more about that. Also, why do you people ignore the people that overstay their visas?

Once again I never claimed we overthrew Mexico's govt. Just contributed to their economic woes. We dump gmo corn and wheat on them at below production costs. Which for Mexico is a big problem cause they have a largely agricultural economy. We even took Mexico to court to regain that privilege.

We've been doing this in earnest all over the plant since Carter administration started promoting maximum agricultural production and subsidizing it.

countries "dump" products - USA is the #1 dumping ground, thus tariff's protecting country's citizens/farmers etc

However, under the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), most goods from the U.S. to Mexico are exempt from tariffs, including agricultural products like corn.

Mexico doesn't like it? they can change their laws/tariffs

OY VEY! Nothing screams "I've lost" like declaring victory when there was none. Sounds like something Trump would do.

Oh .... wait a sec. That explains it!

So .... you were hoping to pick strawberries for a living? Or you're desperate to pay $20 a pint? Which is it?

so you do NOT want to fine companies/businesses using illegal labors to stop the entire process of the USA being partially responsible ?

I didn't think you did - Democrats/liberals don't. They WANT the illegal cheap slave labor that's under the table, outside USA labor laws and abuses those trafficked to the USA

good 'ol Democrats

apply and go back to your home country until its been reviewed

danger is a relative word - Jewish being sent back to Germany in 1940 is different than someone being sent back to Haiti because its a craphole country to live in

I do agree with you though .... withdraw 100% of the money we send to other countries, stop interfering

on that we 100% agree
I have a question, though.

How is America served by giving up all of its influence? Our two main sources of influence were USAID and NATO.

Us trashing both of them is a gift to China and Russia. How is that putting America first? It sounds like it's putting Xi and Putin first.

Rule of law

I crossed that border during Biden's term. A couple times. It wasn't open.

Mexico ? India ?

that's where the vast majority of illegals pour in from right ?
Gee, I thought it was Canada. No, no, that's fentanyl. Oh, wait, it's steel and car parts.

I doubt that they will reach that goal (of about $1M/year) even if the OBBB (eventually) gives them additional ICE/ERO personnel.
Fire people in charge of watching for the formation of hurricanes, hire more to arrest chicken pluckers and fairway lawn mowers.
Maybe rewarding vigilante citizens is part of the solution.

No. You referenced USAID and NATO. We are also UN members.. The UN charter is part of our laws. Part of that is non interference in the affairs and politics of other nations. I don't recall ever having a law abiding administration in our govt.

The UN treaty says we can't send aid to other nations or join a mutual defense pact?

Link?

No just says we can't interfere in their affairs and politics. USAID in large part was a cut out and slush fund for us to do dirt at arms length giving the appearance of plausible deniability.

We have legal constitutional processes for dealing with refugees and asylum seekers. Trump should use them. Period.
I didn't think you did - Democrats/liberals don't. They WANT the illegal cheap slave labor that's under the table, outside USA labor laws and abuses those trafficked to the USA
No - actually, historically, it has been Republicans who USE "illegal cheap slave labor that's under the table". NOT Democrats/liberals. And that even extends to Trump himself, who was notorious for using undocumented workers on his golf courses, and in his hotels. Look it up.
Don't you ever get tired of being wrong?

Never believe anything from the trump admin especially when it comes to numbers.

I decided to press forward with our bathroom and kitchen remodel despite the tumultuous environment.
I wanted to push it through while the quote I received was still viable and labor was still available.

I still was sideswiped and negatively impacted. After a week of waiting for our shower we were a grout job away from a very eagerly anticipated return of this basic commodity.

The next day the grout work should have been and the shower up and running the followo g morning.. After work my wife and I discovered our shower was still not grouted. It turns out that wife of the person who was doing the tile was picked up by ICE and he was not able to come in to complete the scheduled job

I know full well that there area LOT of unsympathetic people here.. but this is very real and these (1st world ) problems will impact all of us more than is realized by many. It will not get better and these stories and inconveniences will compound and become more and more commonplace

One thing our pampered 'merican lives cannot tolerate is a disruption from our statistics quo. My example - albeit a minor incnvenience - is just a canary in the coal mine. This WILL touch on all of us and not positively.

Are you misunderstanding things? The reason the people are here applying for asylum is because they believe they are unsafe in their home country.
danger is a relative word - Jewish being sent back to Germany in 1940 is different than someone being sent back to Haiti because its a craphole country to live in
Again, some serious missing of the point. The law and decisions under the law are clear: economic migrants are not eligible for asylum. Doesn’t matter if you are from a poor country like Haiti and want a job that fills your belly, or from a rich country like Norway and want to be a barista at Starbucks’s and meet American women who might marry you. You are not eligible for asylum.
