Anybody heard this one yet? I like it. As in "Shady" Vance which would be very appropriate given his gargantuan hypocrisy as a once Never-Trumper suddenly selling his soul to Donald "The Devil" Trump in exchange for political and financial gain. I hear that the Trump campaign is now regretting they picked Shady because at the time they didn't know Biden was going to resign and so figuring Trump could easily beat Biden no matter who was VP they settled on an easy Trump clone. I predict the Trump camp will convince Shady to quietly resign as a VP candidate who brings nothing to the ticket and get someone maybe from one of the swing states who would matter. Shady Vance, like Pence, will be a washed-up political has-been who sold his dignity and reputation for nothing.

I think trump might want to replace Vance, but likely won't, for two reasons, trump's subservience to the billionaires backing Vance, and looking like an idiot for the wrong pick.

A difference between them is that Pence was in bad shape politically and had no support effectively for his action and no big backers, while Vance is a leader in the movement I posted about that got no response, has billionaires supporting him, and remains in the Senate. He has every chance to lead the right both in that fanatic 'New Right' camp as well as taking over 'MAGA' for trump.

Bringing nothing (except Thiel's sweet sweet money) was exactly why Trump picked him. No chance Vance will ever be a threat to Trump.
