New GOP Congressman flashes wite supremacy sign as he's sworn in

Is he white? He is showing us how ridiculous two party politics has become and probably knows it.

Good thing it wasn't a gang sign.

Like Bloods or Crips.

Stirring the pot while he’s still in extremely hot water — looking for allies for when he’s ousted from Congress?
One would think laying low and not drawing attention to himself so he could deal with the variety of issues he already has. Guess not.

Like we needed another reason to expel him. I am incrediblly rusty about current white supremist signals. Got a link to show that is what this was?

Well, I took a look, 12 posts, there is one such right-wing post condemning him, one more than expected, but just one so far.
To be fair, the thread has only been here for 45 minutes. Maybe I'm just in a good mood today, but I think there will be condemnation before too long

In 2017, the “okay” hand gesture acquired a new and different significance thanks to a hoax by members of the website 4chan to falsely promote the gesture as a hate symbol, claiming that the gesture represented the letters “wp,” for “white power.” The “okay” gesture hoax was merely the latest in a series of similar 4chan hoaxes using various innocuous symbols; in each case, the hoaxers hoped that the media and liberals would overreact by condemning a common image as white supremacist.

In the case of the “okay” gesture, the hoax was so successful the symbol became a popular trolling tactic on the part of right-leaning individuals, who would often post photos to social media of themselves posing while making the “okay” gesture....The overwhelming usage of the “okay” hand gesture today is still its traditional purpose as a gesture signifying assent or approval. As a result, someone who uses the symbol cannot be assumed to be using the symbol in either a trolling or, especially, white supremacist context unless other contextual evidence exists to support the contention. Since 2017, many people have been falsely accused of being racist or white supremacist for using the “okay” gesture in its traditional and innocuous sense.

According to your link, there is less than a 1:3 chance that he meant what you claim he meant.

Maybe he can do that at his criminal trial in Brazil? This thread will have a lot of posts from Republicans condemning him for this, right?

Absolutely, just as you condemned Obama for doing so. ;)

So why use a symbol associated with white supremacy?

How many left-wing posters have condemned racist Cori Bush and her racism, as well as her idiotic ‘defund the police’ idiocy?
He needs to be expelled immediately.
The next poster derails and whatabouts:
Absolutely, just as you condemned Obama for doing so. ;)
