A suggestion was made regarding this feature and after doing a little research, this is now available.

From anyone's profile page, there is a tab for "Post Areas". This will show how many posts and how many threads that poster has made in the various forums here at DP. It's a feature we had on vB and now we have on xF.

I think I started 76 threads, most in the Breaking News and General Political Discussion areas. I wish there was a total at the bottom of the number of threads started. I keep losing count as I scroll down the column!

Nice! This makes it easier for me to identify those fame-seekers who start redundant Breaking News threads, and then don't contribute further.

Getting out my credit card soon !

Quick turnaround, well done!

Wow. Now I have an easy tool to find my patterns and my content. Some of it is pretty good stuff if I do say so. What I cannot yet do, is erase my foolishness, the logic that was not logical, the cringeworthy humor attempts that backfired, the times I misidentified my posting adversary, or worse told him he said something he nver said, my more stupid and embarrassing crap from DP history.

Why did I imagine that this incredibly trivial trivia about Representative Finis Garret of Tennessee of the 1800's might be thread-worthy? LOL, even the American History buffs yawned.

We need a 'Shame Release' button for the stuff we wish we had never posted. Maybe you can work on that system next.

I don't believe I ever really noticed you before, @bttthegreat, but I may have been missing out on a lot of wisdom. I found myself in accord with your entire posting above. If I read through all my old posts on DP, I believe that shame would be one of my major emotions. At least I know that I did publish a number of apologies to other posters, but that doesn't make up for my feeling of shame about the posts I made that were just plain stupid. :)

Wow. This has given me a basis for self-reflection. I'm even more prolific than I thought I was. Also, it makes it much easier to find old threads. Thanks!

I've always believed "thread starting" is the lifeblood of any forum.

A "jettison button?" :)

Yeah but one with no time frame limitation. I want to hit 'jettison' now on some of my posts from the early 2000's
You and 90 percent of politicians... ;) now, there's a use for that new AI....

Well, this was fun. Looking around for "My profile" a second time (where is it?) I hit the wrong thing, lost my avatar and had a bunch more fun getting an image in there. I'm leaving this thread and never returning.

Um... I lost my avatar too doing the exact same thing from this exact thread trying to get to my profile I clicked on my avatar and boom - it was gone.
Took me a few mins because I forgot where it was on my hard drive.

ROFL!! 🤣🤣

You've just made me feel so much better! Thanks!

When I do something l;like that, I blame it on my fat fingers
Not saying you have fat fingers:)

@MaryP is not afraid of "fat" insults. She is a tiny slip of a thing. I have it on very good authority. :)
