Last year's report found that over a three-year period, the FBI had demanded personal data on people from banks, telephone and Internet providers and credit bureaus without official authorization and in non-emergency circumstances.

can you say 'oops' :3oops:
talking about making a hard sell tougher

What? The government misuse power that it grabbed for itself!? Never, wouldn't happen in a million years. The government is like a fluffy teddy bear comforting us and making us feel all warm and snuggly safe. Why they would never work against the liberty of the People, use hyperbole and lies to justify expansion of power, get us into unconstitutional occupational wars with no plan and no end in sight, or in any way misuse any power it stole from the people under the guise of safety.

Nothing to see here...move along.

But NO not at all, the government is only looking at the details of terrorists and those associated with terrorists, they would NEVER look at that of anyone else for whatever purpose.

</sarcasm>? I hope.

The government would never give confidential FBI files of US citizens to political operatives to expose their sex lives and ruin their careers for the sake of getting away with their own felonies.
