It is also used to blackball students, get people thrown out of the country, colleges penalized, a whole list of anti-American actions can be carried out with a single accusation directed at a target Israelis, or Americans acting with malign intent, wish to silence.

Very stupid. People who are anti-Christian would not use Russia as an example, people who are antisemitic would use Israel.
If there was a single nation in the world that is dominatingly black, white supremacists would be targeting it with their own racism as well.
Likewise antisemites often use Israel to throw their antisemitism and you yourself are an example of that. But it's not just about Israel. They use statements that are antisemitic by their very nature, such as asserting that Jews (Israel or other Jewish person/entity) are in control.
