(JTA) — A neo-Nazi website announced an armed march by white supremacists in an effort to harass a Montana Jewish community.

The web graphic published Friday on the Daily Stormer about the march in Whitefish was published over a picture of the entrance to Auschwitz and included a yellow Star of David with the word “Jude” printed in it.

I think it's time for the residents of Whitefish, Montana to exercise their Second Amendment rights against these Nazi scum, who are stealing oxygen from the rest of humanity.

Exactly what I intended it to mean. If those assholes show up in town and start threatening people with their weapons, just like they said they are going to do, they all need to be killed. It's called self defense.

I'm going to . . . indulge you and work under the (always questionable :roll:) assumption you're serious.

It's one thing to say that they're scum, which is certainly true, and that their beliefs and what they have to say are reprehensible and should be shunned.

It's quite another to suggest killing them for it, which is repugnant to the First Amendment and indicates a gross misunderstanding of the Second Amendment . . . to say nothing of being just as reprehensible as they are.

According to your own story, this is what they said they were going to do:

The Daily Stormer published a blog post earlier in the month calling for followers to “take action” against Jews in Whitefish by writing and calling them with anti-Semitic messages. The post claimed that Jewish residents were “threatening” the business run by Spencer’s mother’s in the town.

The post included the names, phone numbers and addresses of Jewish Whitefish residents, as well as their photos emblazoned with yellow stars. It also showed the Twitter handle and photo of a child. Along with using a number of anti-Semitic slurs, the post warned readers against using “violence or threats of violence or anything close to that.”

A local rabbi last week encouraged people to send notes of sympathy to the Whitefish Jewish community and to put a menorah in their windows in solidarity, the ADL said in a statement issued Friday.

In response, Andrew Anglin, who runs the Daily Stormer site, told his followers to put Nazi flags in their windows and Nazi swastikas on their cars, homes and businesses. He also called on his followers to send hateful messages to two anti-hate organizations, according to the ADL.

I don't agree with that. Nobody should be forced to cower inside their homes because to step outside would put their lives at risk. The town council should make arrangements for extra security to protect the citizens from these bigots. Free speech and the 2nd amendment doesn't cover armed invasion and wholesale threats.

I've got family nearby. I'm pretty sure that aside from the optics, it will be a whole lot of nothing.

Depending upon what actually occurs, it's kind of hard to go about your daily business and let your kids out of the house if there's a group of armed militants in the street screaming anti-semitic threats and insults.

With one gapping hole in that theory.

Almost 100% of those on the left and a very large majority of American Jews absolutely HATE gun ownership, and actively participate in disarmament of all Americans.
Yet they also support arming Israel to the teeth. I find this attitude hypocritical and kinda silly.

Although, in Montana, they may be in for a very rude surprise. I do not think their attitudes toward gun ownership is in agreement with the rest of their coastal elite comrades. They may very well find out they have more guns, and know how to use them, even better that these goons attempting to harass them. Common sense says you only make yourself a target waving a rifle in the air, and walking down main street screaming racial hate language. But then again, these goons were never known for their use of common sense or battle tactics.

Though there are active Jewish groups here in the US that are very strong 2A advocates, they are a very small minority, and completely do not understand the rest, considering their history of death camps and persecution.

This reminds me of the programming of the "American Heroes" channel. Almost 100% Hitler. They are obsessed with Hitler for some stupid reason.
I wonder if there is one group that does nothing but look for stuff like this to spur on emotions like the OPs and ensure something "bleeds" so it can "lead".

Fortunately, most people are reasonable individuals and tend to ignore and look away, even if these goons manage to make their way to Whitefish.
Firing on them would be just as stupid an act as what the goons say they will do.

Why give print and visibility to this kind of foolishness.
Without their article and others like it, their visibility would be limited to word of mouth and their own website.

This unfortunately may be part of the beginning of what we may see for 4 years in Trumpistan. What kind of sick **** would want to march against Jews or minorities in a public display of pure hatred?

We can hope that Republicans and conservatives will stand up and openly condemn these bigots and others like them. It's fairly obvious that Trump will tacitly approve the public hatred.

I find it interesting that any comparison of Trump and his supporters to the actions of Hitler and the Nazi partisans and supporters is immediately met with a derisive response from Trump supporters while these same supporters remain silent when other Trump supporters act like Brown Shirts.

The problem is that it's quickly becoming a chicken and the egg scenario. Because the press and Trump have made a symbiotic relationship between ethnic tensions and the American political landscape, both are seeking to find vindication of the narrative through disparate incidents. Whether or not a given community is actually experiencing increased tensions or not; it doesn't matter anymore.
