NBC News distorts Zimmerman 911 call

Bold: Just because a person feels that they can stand their ground does not mean that they are idiots. One man cannot stand up to hundreds of people.

A person being charged with a crime doesn't have the right to leave the state in which that crime was committed, regardless of the threats he/she receives.

A person being charged doesn't you are correct. However until very recently he wasn't being charged with anything. If he left before that then he has broken no laws.

Besides...where did all this talk about him "leaving" come from? Last I heard the police knew where Zimmerman was.

According to his former lawyers, he cannot be found. That doesn't mean he has left. I'd still guess there's a 60% he will turn himself in, but there's no guarantee.

His ex-lawyers are not the police. Just because they don't know where he is does not mean that the cops don't.

As I said, I believe that there is a 60% chance he will turn himself in, but there's no guarantee. I understand his lawyers are not the police. According to his lawyers, he's made some VERY foolish mistakes in regards to trying to communicate with the prosecutors.

Did you even bother to read the article you linked? It clearly states that Zimmerman is in custody after turning himself in to authorities.

And FWIW, his former lawyers did not say he could not be found, only that they were no longer in contact with him. They weren't looking for him

Notice the time of the posts. I made the post before he turned himself in.
