NBA 2021

Seriously, this kid has got it.

Michael Jordan may have finally struck gold.

He needs to start and the Hornets need to consider building the team around him and Hayward.

He started the last two games.

Ball and the Hornets do it again.
119-94 over Washington. Ball with 24 points, 10 assists and 7 rebounds...a few more boards and the kid would have nailed his second triple-double.

Bucks catching fire. Nets, Celts and Pacers not so much. All three are on losing streaks and have a "last-10" win ratio of .500 or less. Bucks have a five-game winning streak and are within striking distance of the red-hot Seventy Sixers. A couple more wins and the Charlotte Hornets will be right up there with the big boys in the top 4. They play Memphis tonight.

Not much to say about the West except Utah and the two LA teams are leaving the rest of the conference in the dust. Denver is on another losing streak and pissing away their chance to be a top team. Dallas cannot get out of its own way and will need to get Luka help or start tanking. Further up in the standings, Phoenix is simply not good enough to catch the top three. And, Portland does nothing but disappoint this year.

Ball comes down to earth, shoots 1-4 from deep on a paltry 8-15 overall shooting night. Grizz whoop on the Charlotte Hornets 130-114.

Speaking of Whoop, did you see what Toronto did to Washington? 137-115. No one is playing D anymore, are they?

Other blowouts: Cleveland outmatched by Denver is down by 30 in the third. Nets beat Pacers by 10.

Close games: Dallas squeaks past the ATL by 1. Bucks and Suns tied after 1. Lakers trail OKC 14 early but likely will win by at least that score. The other LA team already took care of business, beating Minnesota by 7.

Philly coming down to earth a bit has the slow-starting Bucks within 2 games of first. Nets look like a solid three right now. Boston, Indy and Charlotte batting for the four spot, separated by a game, as each team has 13 wins. The Heat are coming on strong and are likely to overtake the Knicks soon. Washington is still at the bottom. It looks like a lost season in the nation's capital.

Out West, the Lakers and Jazz are red hot. Both teams with 21 wins are on 8 and 9 game winning streaks. Phoenix continues to shine. The Suns are only 2 games behind the Clippers. Denver is struggling to reach the top five, with Spurs and Blazers ahead of them, which is a bit of a surprise.

it will be interesting to see what they do tonight vs the turnover, no defense Nets.

Everyone here in NY is thrilled with Hardin. Another triple double last night. Meantime, between his lack of defense and league leading turn overs I am over him.
7 turnovers last night, 7. Not one mention in the press. WTF?

Dray kind of has a point here.

Drafted the wrong kid

Should have drafted BALL.
Mike got one right. I'm glad LeMelo lasted til #3. Kind of like how Chicago was glad Mike lasted to 3.

Nets are clicking now, winners of 6 straight and right on Philly's butt. Bucks are having trouble, as are the Pacers and Celts. However, the Raptors are coming on strong. Charlotte holds on to the 8-spot, right behind the Knicks.

Out West, Utah is on a crazy pace, winners in 9 of 10 again. Lakers miss AD. Clips lost to the Nets but remain within 1/2 game of the Lakers in the battle for 2nd place. Phoenix may be for real. The Suns are playing at an 8-2 pace, have 19 wins with only 10 losses and sit a solid game ahead of Portland to hold fourth place. Spurs, Nuggets and Warriors round out the remaining top 8 with 16 wins each. Not sure why Denver is that low, but they haven't looked very good this year.

Nets beat them all in the last few days. 🏀

The Net's have only played 7 games with all three of the big three. Imagine the possibilities. Still, I worry. No championship team has the turnovers the Net's have, lack the rebounding the net lack of giving up the points the Net's give up.

Still, they are way fun to watch.
It's probably fair to say that the Nets have the three best scorers in Basketball. That's just nuts. So, yeah. I can see endless possibilities.

I think the Lakers lost to the up and coming Wizards last night. How the hell did that happen?
