Nancy Pelosi Is Withholding Articles of Impeachment From Senate

Nancy Pelosi has showed everyone that she knows what she's doing. Thank God she wasn't replaced as Speaker. The irony can't be overlooked that Trump's downfall will be at the hands of a woman.

There is no such thing as a "real trial" when it comes to an impeachment...just as there's no such thing as a "real investigation".

It's all political.

Don't be hypocritical and believe the House Dems did a real investigation and expect the Senate Reps to hold a real trial. Neither one is doing that.

She's scared s**tless to forward the articles because she knows what is going to happen. Dragging this out in some political game will only further sour the voters on this BS and strengthen Trump. The founders warned about people like Pelosi and the Dems using impeachment as a political weapon. The blowback will be substantial. Pelosi won't need to worry about keeping the speakership after next year.

You're making the "politics as usual" argument. A U.S. President soliciting foreign interference in his upcoming election is unprecedented. We're not debating health care, gun laws, or the minimum wage.

Most Republican Senators are going to have a very difficult time swallowing that bitter pill, especially if more damaging evidence comes out. You could very well be right, but it's not a sure thing.

What happened to their reasoning of urgency? By their own admission they’re willing to let the country be compromised by leaving a President in power who allegedly abuses the office.

Nancy Pelosi is a long-time political veteran, she does not scare easily nor is she easily intimidated. You're comment about her being 'scared ****less' proves just how little you know about Nancy Pelosi. She knows very well that a quick one-two Senate trial will be Trump's acquittal. Trump knows that too, he needs a quick trial. Nancy Pelosi is setting Trump off on a rampage by threatening to delay it. That's not by accident. Every republican in the House bitched and cried about the impeachment investigation moving too fast, with too little documents. Now, they're all going to bitch that Nancy Pelosi is preventing Mitch from moving it at warp speed through the Senate. Well............boo hoo
