Wow, treated just like real humans! Wouldn't that be great! We'd move up from pet dog!

If you're a male and by forty you don't understand you are a nobody, you have a long tough swim upstream.
Forty? Yeah. Funny you should mention that. It was my fortieth birthday, and not a single solitary person on earth, but me, remembered it was my birthday. Not my mother, not my sister, not my wife, not any of my daughters, none of the grand kids, no co-workers, NOBODY.

It was about three days after my birthday that my wife and I were sitting in the evening and watching the tube when she turned to me and asked, "You've got a birthday coming up don't you?" Without looking away from the TV I said, "Yeah, in another 362 days."

Ah, the fond memories of a blissful marriage.

I have no clue as to why religion and politics feel as if they should be able to dictate to women?

Because some people, esp the religious, self-indulgently imagine "little baybees" inside strangers and choose to imagine a value for them that supersedes the woman as an individual to consent to her own life and body and reproduction, to supersede her rights and moral agency but instead, demand the woman risk sacrificing her life and health and self-determination for THEIR CHOICE.

They arent anti-choice...they just want it to be their choice.

They can have all the self-righteousness in the world...with no consequences. All the superiority without the costs.

Happy belated birthday. I am sorry that that happened, but maybe this will give you a chuckle...

I often wonder why women think they have the right to circumcise their sons and then are surprised when those sons grow up thinking controlling other people's bodies is ok.

Maybe if women stop mutilating their penis these boys will stop legislating their vagina, what do you think?

Were you circumcised? I was and don't remember it at all. Yeah, I'm sure that's the reason.

Using that logic, I guess its ok for parents to cut off their newborns arm because they won't remember it at all.

Right to an extreme, why not their heads, for sure they won't remember that? Do you remember anything before the age of four? I don't.
