My kind of sanctuary city

And? So were fugitive slave hunters. Do you mean this as some sort of sincere defense of their immoral, often-illegal and unconstitutional actions?
Perhaps Congress should update our immigration laws?

You mean giving more power to ICE and making it even more of a crime to get in their way as you suggested earlier? Perhaps you have a point you wished to argue beyond sneering at Americans clinging to civil society and pro-immigrant solidarity in the face of authoritarianism?

What I mean is we need to begin resolving issues in a way a majority of the population finds acceptable.

No, they are not. If they were, they would be arresting business owners and managers in these raids. They never do.
Would that be a function of ICE or the police? I'd have no problem with that and a stiff fine as well, perhaps enough to pay for deportations.

You wanna' start deporting American citizens for protesting?

Same thing was occurring under Biden and Obama.

Perhaps we need to have ICE actually having arrest warrants for individuals and not walking around like masked jack booted thugs smashing car windows and grabbing people randomly off the street without a warrant that they can produce or even being able to properly identify themselves and provide their names, badge #s, etc

If they don't have an order of removal, they are not following the law. Do they not have orders of removal for those they arrested?

A Homeland Security Investigations special agent, who didn’t want to be identified, confirmed the arrests.

“We’re executing a criminal search warrant at the location that we just completed, so we’re getting out,” the agent said.

It was illegal to interfere with the Gestapo, too.
When it comes to immigration 49.5% approval of how Trump is handling this issue, 46.8% disapprove.

When it comes to illegal immigration, 32% of all Americans say all illegals should be deported, 51% say some, 16% none. You can break this down further, 97% all illegals who committed violent crimes, 52% say deport illegals who have committed nonviolent crimes, 44% who have arrived in this country within the last 4 years. But only 15% support deporting illegals who have a job, 14% who have a child born in the USA, 9% who came to this country as a child. Pew Research breaks illegal immigrations down further if anyone is interested in how all Americans feel about this problem.

As for sanctuary cities, 41% of all Americans favor denying federal funds to those cities. 44% state that everyone without legal status should be deported.

"Didn't want to be identified."

We have a secret police now?

Trump's not much interested in laws.
Curious. What do you say about those who point out it’s sanctuary cities that are the ones who have no respect for the law, immigration laws as they’re the ones harboring law breakers preventing law enforcement from doing their job? Enforcing the law.

They are respecting the law because the Constitution says Immigration control is a federal matter. The reason sanctuary cities exist is because if local police help the feds arrest immigrants, their immigrant population will be too afraid to assist them with carrying out the law.
