My biggest pet peeve in gun debates

Your so-called point was gibberish. Typical Gun Folk pablum with no real meaning outside of tribal signalling.

"the anti gun folk tend to hate honest gun owners far more than violent criminals because the latter generally don't vote against Democrats"

How did you not understand this?

It's an insane comment....bonkers-like. Ah, but you agree with it. Amirite?

lol...you couldn't see them, but you knew they were bikers. Uh huh. Oh, and the chain? I take it the guy just happened to have it lying by his side. You sound like you're describing a scene from Born Losers.
damn that is really stupid. People show up on our property and I heard motorcycles as they came down a private street and parked at the cub-de-sac at the end of it that was adjacent to our lower lot-separated by a line of trees. When they left, I heard motorcycles and saw them at the top of hill that street was on. You just love to deny knowing what happened and dishonestly make up facts to fit your trolling

great question-I thought it was fairly straightforward

lol...how'd the cops arrive? Where did the chain come from?

The story is full of so much BS, they can smell it in Omaha.

"Vulcan crotch rocket"

You remember "Vulcan crotch rockets" and so someone else should remember the type of motorcycles they glimpsed 40 years ago.

Trouble is, you're remembering a model that doesn't exist.

Not to mention you've admitted to not remembering where you might have left your guns last time you saw them.

I don't think I'll be taking your memory as good evidence.

Actually, no. If you read that post and understood it, you would know this. There was no reference to me "remembering" the Vulcan. I spoke of it in the present tense.

what stupidity-you want to doubt what I said because you are only interested in trolling. You don't have any good faith or reasonable arguments against what I said. The police came from District 2. That is an opposite direction from where the bikers went-towards Alms park, and Eastern avenue.

To be fair, you can hardly be expected to remember a non-existent motorcycle.

Where do you remember the "Z900" from?

Let's see. It was roughly 1976 when I last cared about Kawasakis. So...

That would probably be a 750 of some type.

You sure do seem obsessed with this imaginary gotcha. Seeing that does make the little bike rant worthwhile tho..lol

You referred to your memory and knowledge in criticizing another poster's anecdote.

"Z900" is "a 750 of some sort"?

Your memory and knowledge just continue to amaze.

Your "little bike rant" was a gas, though. A whole lotta.

lol...your failure to acknowledge your tapdancing back steps is on you. Not me.

I've not. Not an iota...
You were all gungho at first, saying pulling a shotgun on innocents was irresponsible. That is, you were until you found out it was your buddy pulling the shotgun...lol

No, I changed my opinion when you decided to be honest and include ALL pertinent information...

Oh, and go ahead. Explain to me how the BS TD added as the heat increased covers his story when it doesn't even add the **** up to begin with...lol What was that line he used again? "The bikers parked their bikes across the street, in the field opposite and out of view from the field where they partied."

Yeah, like that's gonna happen...Oh, and how did he know they were bikers? Remember, the bikes were out of view....lol.

A little catch 22 there. No?

But, yes. Keep on backpedaling. It fits well with bikes, the Huffy kind.

You'll have to talk to TD about that. I'm not making his argument for him...

I think most people reading the nonsense he posts understands that his posts make up facts, distort information given to him and mainly are designed to troll on this forum

Yeah. The Gun Folk really hate improper nomenclature.
Isn't that true for every profession?

How many carpenters do you know would tolerate you calling a hammer a banana? Do you think they would laugh and make fun of such stupidity, or do you think they would be understanding and sympathetic of your lack of knowledge?

Using improper nomenclature is the very first indication that the individual is completely clueless on the subject matter, regardless of what that subject may be. So take my advice and get a clue.

See? Really guts the Gun Folk for some reason. Regular people get upset when a score children are killed in an American gun massacre but the Gun Folk? Identifying the weapon used incorrectly is what makes their blood boil.

Pro-rights people were upset, too, at those deaths. Should we allow the government to ignore the Constitution, the Bill of Rights and SCOTUS?

The one that irks me is when they call it a "clip".

It's a magazine, not a clip...

Yeah, because it really can be only one or the other...

more nonsense-what gets gun folks upset-in addition to innocent people being killed, often in gun free zones, is that the blatant dishonesty of the gun banners. For two reasons. 1) the gun banners seem to only care about innocents dying so far as they can use the deaths of the innocents to smear gun ownership. 2) secondly, the gun banners try to blame honest and lawful gun owners for the actions of criminals.

Why would we expect people who have no interest in being precise in language, to be capable of anything but emotionally driven binary thinking?

Claiming people should have no say in the debate over firearms due to non-expert level ignorance like calling a Sig Sauer MCX an AR-15 when everyone knows that Colt holds the trademark on AR-15 is absurd. It's like saying people who call J Cuvée 20 champagne shouldn't comment on local liquor laws.

If a law depends upon a technicality, those pushing for those laws should understand that technicality.
