My biggest pet peeve in gun debates

you don't care because no matter what I say, you will make up facts for an incident you didn't witness and then you will complain about actions you attribute to me based on how you want the facts to be. Your posts constantly do that.
It never happened then. OK. I'm fine with that.

If it happened, you would know the bikes, TD.

lol...you don't know?

That's funny. Of course. I don't believe you.
What are the attributes of these "Harley guys" of which you speak? Aside from, I assume, they ride a particular brand of motorcycle?

Ask the guy who brought up "bikers."

I'm not wasting my time on your stupid questions.

As I noted, your posts make up facts, then you howl about the facts that you made up and complain that another poster doesn't defend the facts that had nothing to do with what he said. We didn't have Hell's angels in our area to the best of my knowledge. I have no idea what sort of bikes they had back then. But neither do you and yet you pretend you do. Is there are reason your posts constantly try to create factual scenarios that have nothing to do with reality? And why are you bringing this up on this thread?

I thought you referenced and posted a quote from a long ago thread that spoke of "bikers." So in that context, you brought them up in this thread.

And you further went into something about "Harley guys", and refuse to elaborate on your meaning.

Take that ^ up with the guy who cannot name the bikes these guys supposedly rode. Surely he should remember these "bikes." How could he not?

Hell, be it 40 years ago or today, I pretty much remember every motorcycle I ever came within five feet of, and I never pulled a gun on anyone riding it...lol

I remember the crotch-rocket Yamaha my buddy smashed into the side of a car, swelling his head like two balloons. I remember the Honda my other buddy spilled on the highway at 100-plus mph, saved by leathers. I remember the shitty Harleys from 1970's, when they were BSAF. I noticed the distinct change that came later, when the brand went independent again. I remember the Suzuki GS series. I remember the Kawasaki Z900 before they went with the metrosexual Vulcan series crotch rocket. In other words, I don;t buy that someone would not know the bikes in question.

So, if you want to see who's lying, I suggest probing about those bikes. Not that you will.

You won't/can't name the bikes. That says a lot.

I was asked to. Maybe you should pay attention.

"Vulcan crotch rockets"?

Hell are those, now?

again, you are lying and making up fictitious facts.- I will continue to let you make up facts because it is amusing to see someone who hasn't a clue what he is talking about, continue to act as if he was there. You don't know the property, the streets, where their bikes were, whether I could see the bikes or not or if I merely saw them depart. It's hilarious that your posts try to do this

Huffys, Harley, Kawasakis, Hondas, Yamahas, Schwinns?

What kind of bikes were they, TD?

don't know, couldn't see much of them when they left. they parked on the other side of the woods that separate the property we lived on from the street that was on the north side of that 7 acre piece of property. There was a cul-de-sac at the end of a private street that had an unoccupied (at the time) house on it. due the tree line, very little could be seen of the bikes. So again, since you weren't there, why do you pretend you know what happened? And honestly, I didn't know much about motorcycles to the extent I could determine what was what merely on the sound they made. And yes it was 45 years ago. But why don't you tell us what happened since you claim you know better

I don't believe they exist. I could be wrong, but I've always been of the mind that "Vulcan" is Kawasaki's name for their line of V-twin cruisers.

You were rambling on about what you remember in critique of TD's remeberence, and I think your own memory is somewhat askew.

Maybe he didn't look. If you're concerned about possible violence, you focus on the source of that violence, not the horse they rode in on. Plus, it was a while ago.

Thanksgiving night in 1979 a man rearended me on the Interstate, and could have killed me. I have no idea what car he drove.

Got a thing for motorcycles?

Why should he have cared about the bikes? I don't care if you aren't buying it, I ain't selling it.

Maybe he didn't look....
How about this?

How many "honest, responsible gun owners" pull a loaded firearm on another citizen at least 3 times in less than 10 years, shooting one in the hind parts (colonoscopy) starting at the age of 17?

Add to that the constant talk about a "civil war."

Let me guess. You'll pretend there is no pattern or any other note of concern there.

By your own admission, you got home from prep school and walked up on innocent people while holding a shotgun.

I like how they parked their bikes on public property but supposedly partied on yours....lol

more lies, trespassing, smoking weed, and engaging in threatening behavior.

lol...no. You engaged in the threatening behavior by walking up to them armed with a shotgun!

more lies. try again. go back and read that post you have obsessed over and see what I actually wrote. Or better yet, stop obsessing over me and stop lying about an incident you haven't a clue about

I wouldn't know much about modern Kaws; I'm not a metrosexual.

So far as I know, they've never used the Vulcan name for crotch rockets. Those were sired by the GPZ series, and later tagged as Ninjas.

I think you're just not remembering clearly.

If the cops on the scene didn't think he did anything wrong, why do you, hundreds of miles and decades away from the incident, choose to believe that he did?

He's not proposing one. He's noting that actions by the government could lead to one.

Let me guess. You'll pretend there is no pattern or any other note of concern there.
Correct.

I was an RM250 guy back in the 70's. I never liked the Kawasaki dirt bikes. And, after seeing a couple buddies meet their makers early in life, I passed on owning any road bikes. Probably a good move. I totaled three cars.
