Chances are, he was given massive tax breaks to move his companies to Texas.

Sometimes, cities do that - offer to defer taxes in exchange for the economic and job opportunities they will be bringing there.

OTOH, one of Austin's tourist attractions is watching the bats fly out from under the Congress Ave. bridge in the evening....so, yeah.......

Bats are awesome, we have a spot like that in Phoenix, just West of 40th St and Camelback, north of the canal. Its a huge underground culvert, many thousands of bats, they come out at sunset, fun to watch.
