The Baltic States and other nations in Eastern Europe still haven’t managed to figure out that collaborating with the Germans and helping carry out the Holocaust is wrong, so wailing about about “Circassian Genocide” is fairly meaningless.

yes, in 18c. Muscovite czar Pieter I finally "succeed ". It was not the first and the last time, when the Muscovite have renamed their empire. Czar Ivan the Terrible ( the most bizarre of all czars ) WANED RENAME it to Israel in 16c. , but failed.

yes , Moscow is very keen on taking what belongs not to them ....

Estonia takes first steps to rename Kaliningrad to its traditional name - Königsberg!

This is a significant and symbolic step. Historical place names can carry deep cultural and historical meaning. When Moscow ulus 🐐 🇷🇺 does collapse, the west should give Königsberg an opportunity to formally re-join the Free World (west) one way or another . Estonia takes first steps to rename...

the russiians are not alone in that respect
think of the turks, the japanese, the czechs etcetc etc

the germans seem to be the only ones that really repent their crimes

the others either keep quiet …. or deny any genocide … or even say that they were right ..

and it will happen again in azerbaijan ….

in poland at least they allow names like breslau in.officially
and sometimes allow bilingugual road signs


while, if you speak of königsberg or breslau in west germany, some fanatical socalled anti.fascist will say then that you are a nazi ….

the Germans MUST SUPPORT Moscow decolonization ! the best solution for this part of Eastern Prussia ´d be become part of Belarus (the locals will learn Belarusian language fast, history , etc. ) , and the Germans who lived there can return home, some will get old farms , other property stolen by Moscow empire
