Mueller report summary sent to Congress

Just wondering as you never had any use for Rosenstein.
Oh yes, do not forget what Mueller has hived off.
SDNY has been working on Trump / Family / Corp for a year or so.
They just do not quit.

I think I heard Deutsche Bank is turning over evidence as well.

Yeah - how's that working for Hillary??

:lamo:lamo

Funny the investigation turned UP evidence, private server, Classified documents, Weinner Laptop.

Prosecution refused to pursue charges... Apples and baseball bats.... Not nearly the same.

What's classified about some billionaire who has laundered money along with his lawyer and an ousted Ukrainian Russian puppet? What's classified about Hush Money paid to a porn star and a tabloid to quiet sexual favors? What's classified about secret meetings with Russians that were repeatedly lied about? What's classified about the firing of anybody who knew about the Russian connections?
And what is collusion with any of those things? Nothing.

Just had FOX on earlier and one of the guests was Alan Dershowitz. He feels Mueller failed to do his complete job by not making a decision on obstruction and passing the ball.

Then I switched over to MSNBC and same discussion was taking place questioning why Mueller refused to make a decision.

I find myself agreeing. I don't think his conclusion would have been seen in the same sense many are looking at with Barr's stating no, no obstruction.

The video can be seen at this link:

Dershowitz: Mueller '''hedged,''' should have said '''unequivocally''' no obstruction | Fox News
Rosenstein , the guy that wanted to wear a wire on Trump and who is leaving the DOJ soon also agreed that there was no obstruction of justice.

What does collusion have to do with it? Mueller had a wide remit, and "collusion" was not on the radar then.
And yet they found Zero criminality on Trump. 2800 subpoenas, 500 interviews, 300 warrants, 40 FBI agents, 19 prosecutors and zero crime for Trump.

If the Barr report is an accurate read of the Mueller report, then the next step is to focus on the 2020 election in its entirety. If it's true that Trump isn't criminally liable for obstruction of justice or conspiracy with Russians, it's no less true that he's repulsive as a human being with regards to our national character and respect for democratic institutions. That has not changed.

We don't care if you think "that he's repulsive as a human being with regards to our national character and respect for democratic institutions". Just because you don't like him doesn't make you right. I don't like what he says, but I do like what he has done for the economy, foreign relations, and the things that count when we look to 2020. You libs haven't come up with anyone yet that I would consider. Way too far left.

There is a not-subtle silver lining in this cloud. The Mueller investigation sucked all of the oxygen out of the room and never moved the needle on public opinion anyway. There are roughly 16 other investigations keeping their heads down and pressing on, and letting them do so in peace is for the best.

In the meantime, Democrats no longer have to split their attention between Mueller and their own policy arguments, and we can move forward on those. Bear in mind that it was specifically policy that allowed us to retake the House. Next to none of it actually had anything to do with Russia.

Also keep in mind that this doesn't actually exonerate Trump on everything, just on one very narrow field. Other ongoing investigations will continue to address those other issues while Democrats focus on the best arguments for why the White House should go blue in 2020.

"specifically policy"? Just what policy would that be? It appears that the reason the House went blue is a (usually) normal mid-term phenomenon. Remember 2010? What policy caused that landslide?

I think in this case the worm was Mueller ... for not having the balls to make a decision. :lamo

Surely he uncovered that during the meticulous two-year investigation.

It would be child's play. Democrats control the House. We saw how easy it was with Bill Clinton for a single charge of perjury after a much longer and more costly witch hunt where republicans were desperately trying to find something to impeach over. But I don't know that it would be a good political move for democrats to impeach. A Trump ticket in 2020 gives them the best chance to take the presidency. The wisest move for conservatives is to run a different candidate and wipe the slate clean.

Nah, Trump looks pretty hard to beat with the economy and now this outcome....

We have only just begun.

Butthurt doesn't become you libs. Right now you should be licking your wounds and searching DILIGENTLY for a decent center-left candidate to run against Trump. He's in the catbird seat now.

I still find it unlikely that "No Collusion!" was the only time Donald Trump told the truth.
You are among those who think there is no other way (besides "collusion -however defined) that Trump could have won the election. I didn't vote for Hillary (didn't want 4 more years of "sluggish economy"). Didn't figure Trump would deliver, but I knew Hillary wouldn't. I like to think I wasn't alone.

I'll click your links when you click mine. Deal? It can be a much more grown-up game of "I'll show you mine if you show me yours".

But I do appreciate you dropping the insinuation that Mueller can't make his report public or that Ken Starr isn't an unethical hack.

You continue to embarrass yourself (and I don't mean your babyish first sentence above). You've posted two links in this thread, the first to Fox News's link: Read the Mueller report findings: Barr’s letter to Congress | Fox News

The second link you've posted was to a WaPo article in Post 431. I responded to you in Post 484 and quoted from the linked article:

So much for your claim that I don't click on contrarian links. Throughout this thread you've accused others of lying and making stuff up. Look to yourself. :3oops:

That intrigues me too, what is the Democrat "policy"? As near as I can tell it is the opposite of whatever Trump endoses; more relaxed immigration, no embassy in Jerusalem, no deals with North Korea, easygoing on Iran, relax on NATO, boost Obamacare, promote LGBTetc and vigorously re-regulate (ban pipelines, fracking, shale and such) protect the environment. How many here now yearn for "sluggish economy"?

Rosenstein , the guy that wanted to wear a wire on Trump and who is leaving the DOJ soon also agreed that there was no obstruction of justice.

He agreed that there was not enough evidence to bring obstruction of justice charges. That is different from your claim. Your spin is promoting a falsehood.

Nah, Trump looks pretty hard to beat with the economy and now this outcome....

Trump's performance has been lackluster to say the least. The economic recovery which started under Obama is expected to slow considerably in the next year or two. Farmers are being squeezed out of business thanks to Trump's trade war. He presided over the longest government shutdown in US history, and got nothing for it. (The dems are going to make sure voters don't forget about that one.) He declared a phony national emergency to bypass Congress for a wasteful pet project. And now with the dismantling of universal healthcare and the reinstatement of insurance companies' right to deny coverage to people with preexisting conditions, it's not looking too good for the GOP in 2020.

George Conway gets to the real heart of the matter,

There are no wounds to lick.

Hmmmmm....Let's see....First you people throw out innocent until proven guilty, now your people want to go after the very conclusions of the team you touted as a weapon "closing the walls around Trump" for two plus years....I tell ya...Justice is the furthest thing from any of your minds.
