federal judge signaled Friday that she'll likely allow a group of Georgia voters to move forward with their constitutional challenge against GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, which claims she can't run for reelection because she aided the January 6 insurrectionists.

Federal Judge Amy Totenberg of the Northern District of Georgia said during a lengthy hearing that she has "significant questions and concerns" about a recent ruling in a similar case, which blocked the same challenge against Rep. Madison Cawthorn, a North Carolina Republican.

What about it folks, do we support the constitution or not?

I am honestly surprised

Nobody cares about January 6, or this pathetic strategy to distract from the disaster in the WH. lol

this ruling isn't going to help:

The judge in the MTG ruling mentioned that there were "many problems" with the cawthorn ruling.

No you just wish nobody cared…

This. Will be tembered

Actually, it's that you want to distract. We don't want J6 to happen again. You were hoping that inflation would make us forget about The coup?

You may not realize this but you don't speak for everyone, it matters to many of us and we'll use it against any candidate that played any role in or supporting what happened 1/6/21. Sorry.

update:
The lawmaker [snot wheels] has previously won an injunction against the challenge to his reelection. The Fourth Circuit declined to stay that decision but granted an expedited appeal.

Oral arguments in the case are scheduled for May 3. ... U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit will hear arguments against an injunction that prevented Cawthorn from being removed from the ballot.

We'll see in November. Keep pushing the narrative though. Stick to it. You don't want Trump to run? Be careful what you wish for.

Don't you have to prove a crime first, then convict the accused before there is a punishment handed out.
Violating the constitution is not necessarily a crime. It's a civil suit. If they can convince a jury she violated the said constitution, then she could be tossed. I doubt it would happen, but wouldn't that teach some of these loud mouth Putin lovers a lesson or two.
