During his syndicated radio show Friday, libtalker and MSNBC host Ed Schultz relayed to listeners how he observed 'Morning Joe' Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski take feedback directly from the White House during their program last week.

Schultz appeared on Thursday's Morning Joe and directly challenged Obama's David Axelrod on the current version of the health care bill under consideration in Congress. Interestingly, this particular segment has since generated a great deal of attention elsewhere, given the defensive nature of the White House advisor and the supposed conflict between the far left and the administration:

...SCHULTZ (08:12): So Mika starts looking at her Blackberry and so does Scarborough and obviously the White House is texting them or emailing them or whatever and they didn't like the show. Because Arianna had been on there, I'm on there, Howard Dean had been on there and they wanted some balance.

Now think about that - here's the White House getting in contact with 'Morning Joe' because they're afraid there's too many lefties on the air! Now if that's not sensitivity at its highest level, I don't know what is!

...And do MSNBC staffers actually carry out the administration's commands? In this case, they certainly made room on short notice for a lengthy segment featuring Axelrod, there to rebut comments made by Howard Dean and other recent guests....
 
does schultz happen to have copies of these messages?? it sounds like he is ASSUMING it was the whitehouse that they were in contact with .....nothing in the radio clip suggests that he has any evidence to back up his claim.

The left has become quite a joke, and NO LONGER to be taken seriously, but instead to be taken as an ENEMY of Freedom and Liberty! Or just an embarrassment..:3oops:

Scarborough can go toe to toe with any liberal out there. Only he does it in a logical and common sense way (unlike his other "conservative" competition.) Joe rocks. A TRUE Goldwater styled conservative.
 
From the Obamedia's unwillingness to cover any issue that has the slightest inkling of negative connotations about anything Obama, it is easy to come to the determination that there is collusion at work here. Just look at how they ignored the ACORN story about child prostitution and continue to down play it if it comes up at all.

What I find incredible here is that Ed Schultz would bring this issue up at all. I listened to him occasionally when he was first syndicated because I was on the same station and I wanted to know more about him.

It was at the time my assessment that Ed was as Yellow a Yellow Dog Democrat that you were ever likely to find. I left the Republican party because of Bush back in about early 03 because of his shenanigans, but I remain a Conservative, who will say that everything Bush did was not all bad. Just a whole lot of.

Ed Schultz is so into the Yellow Dog mind set that if George Bush were to stop at an accident scene and pull a small child and a pregnant woman from a burning car Ed Schultz would most likely find a way to either blame Bush for the accident or claim it never happened at all. It's just the way he is. Or at least was.

We are at a place in time where journalism school now longer teaches students to report and old Sgt. Joe Friday would say: "Just the facts Mam."
Notifying the people of the who, what, when, why, and how has been replaced by how can I as a reporter make the Liberal slant look like unbiased reporting. It's taught in liberal schools disguised journalism all over these days.

It must be that Ed has finally stopped drinking from the Obama Been Lying Holly Grail of deception and decided to think for himself for a change.

We used to call such an epiphany a "reality check," but it is so very rare these days for any Liberal to stop and think so I can't be 100% sure of this.

Nope little that POS progressive did under the cover of the complicit GOP was "OK" ! Out of control spending and raping freedom via a the Patriot Act...

I do offer exception on your specific account as you will remember a constant assault on Bush from the liberal news media, the likes of which Oblabba will never see.. so I really don't blame him for seeking some media cover from the brutal onslaught of socialist media heads.



PROGRESSIVES are the problem with America and a complicit media is a crime against ALL of MANKIND... and all WILL be held accountable in the new conservative revolution.
 
I watch 30 to 60 minutes of M-Joe almost every morning, and I do not see them touting the Administration line. I have no problem with them being in contact with upper staff, nor allowing them to have some time on their request as long as the show continues to include other opinions.

Joe himself is no defender of the Obama administration.
