UC-Berkeley’s Institute of Governmental Studies found that 54% of California voters feel that California is headed in the wrong direction. (36% are happy with it, and 10% were undecided)

Today, California has:
the highest level of homelessness, the highest level of poverty, and the highest (aggregate) Taxes of any state in the US.
California has extreme economic disparity,
a massive housing crisis,
a worsening water supply crisis, (mandatory water-rationing in some areas)
an epidemic of wildfires,
a crime spike which has recently been spreading to suburbs,
an extremely high cost of living.
The list goes on and on. No wonder so many Californians are pulling up stakes and moving to states like Arizona, New Mexico, Florida, et. al.
As more and more people leave California, the Tax Base gets smaller and smaller, so Sacramento must raise taxes even higher on those of us who remain., which in turn causes even more people to flee.
