More jobs out there than workers

I by no means really thought China would volunteer any subsidizing. They won't even come clean about the virus and how it got released.

that is exactly what it is ........not a hammock. You never know when or if you'll ever need it. Just like all of those seniors who created a retirement package through the Savings and Loan industry suddenly there was the Reagan/Bush home loan scandals which somehow wiped out the Savings and Loan Industry and tons
of retirement packages. The S&L industry did not get bailed out and neither did the owners of the retirement funds hmmmmmmmmmm. Thus millions of hard working seniors were back in the job market at a time when
Reagan/Bush were supporting outsourcing of USA corporations and millions of jobs. With Mitt Romney/Bain Capital making millions off the misfortune of the USA workers. Then Bush/Cheney did a replay. Then Trump COVID 19 came along littered with ignorance and arrogance.

Yes republicans know how to turn an economy upside down the pattern is established.

It's the workers who suffer not the white collars.......... wait a minute the workers are the most essential part of corporate success.

Be very careful how you slander the safety nets..........

I have consistently said the US should have mandated maternity leave despite being a single guy who doesn't want kids so it won't help me in the slightest.

Uhm no kidding people that worked for 10 years to finally get to $15 dollars will be screwed if the federal minimum wage went up to $15 an hour. They won't make double @$30 an hour they will only get like a dollar raise to $16 an hour

You'll notice that the "Help wanted" signs only exist at places that are still trying to pay poorly. Businesses that have raised wages have no trouble hiring people. Hell, I remember an ice cream shop that bumped its pay and got hundreds of applicants in the height of the pandemic. When those enhanced unemployment benefits were at their highest, hundreds applied to scoop ice cream at a tiny shop.

"Nobody wants to work" is something people say who pay poorly, have absurd expectations of workers, treat workers poorly, or some combination of the three.
(I love seeing all the asking-for-advice posts from managers like "how come my workers stop working after the end of their shift?" Gee I wonder why they aren't doing free labor for you, idiot)

This isn't rocket science. It's supply and demand. Unemployment is very low right now. Workers have options. You want to compete, keep the **** up.
