Moore wins Republican Senate primary, dealing blow to GOP establishment

OMG! The Ten Commandments in a public square!!! How horrible!

The fact of them being there is FAR less of a problem than that formerly Judge Moore does not respect the laws of this country, which forced his Alabama colleagues (not liberals in NY) to TWICE remove him from the bench.

We'll just have to see how they like him on election day.

I'd bet not quite my last dollar they'll elect him. Doesn't change my opinion of Moore - the GOP has gone full on whack job in recent years.

Ah ...You are pretty much wrong on a lot things I would imagine...Nice try throwing that non sense about the "constitution"

Yep, so wrong that I am like the majority and keep winning elections in the state of TX and you aren't going to win many elections pissing off 83% of the public

No doubts creeps like Moore think the constitution says America is to be ruled by white Christian men....

83% of Americans say they are Christian and that is why leftists like you are on the losing side of most local and state elections

You'd have No problem with the Koran on a public square...Right?

But that's different....somehow. I've never been quite able to figure it out beyond, "it's OK when we do it."

But the Declaration no longer has any meaning beyond historical relic. The Constitution, not the DoI, is the basis for our system of government, it was the Constitution (which was the SECOND attempt at such a document, with dozens of Amendments) that governs us, and its terms contradict the silly notion that the Founders intended to establish a theocracy, or "Christian nation."

No one's attacking Christians as a group, just bigots like Roy Moore.

The people of Alabama will decide on who their next Senator is, not you are the rest of the left

Yes, of course, as I've said. But I'm glad you noted the obvious for me.

I'll just note your straw man allowed you to ignore my ACTUAL point.

Your actual point ignores election results in your own state and most states around the country. Keep promoting leftwing ideology and agenda and never win another state or local election

And what laws are these? Most laws are in protection for unions.

So called "right to work" laws:

Right-to-work laws do not aim to provide general guarantee of employment to people seeking work, but rather are a government regulation of the contractual agreements between employers and labor unions that prevents them from excluding non-union workers,[2] or requiring employees to pay a fee to unions that have negotiated the labor contract all the employees work under.

Lol, I knew you would bring that up. As I said, you aren't about the freedom to come together, you want to force everyone to conform to your group.

You are confused. We are discussing government intervention. You are claiming that government intervention is bad, but you are supporting government intervention that hurts American individuals for no discernible gain.

No, the point you ignored was that the Declaration of Independence is irrelevant other than as a historical relic. It's the Constitution that governs us, and was the formal declaration by the Founders of the core nature of our country, and the idea we are a "Christian nation" is completely contradictory to the letter and the principles underlying our Constitution.

83% of this country calls themselves Christian so pissing off that group is going to serve the Democratic Party quite well. Keep it up, is it any wonder that the left continues to lose state and local elections?

Do you consider American workers too stupid to make their own decisions?

I never said all government intervention is bad, only that it is bad in general and should be only reserved to protect the rights of citizens like in this case.

Yep, total and complete nonsense that continues to win elections. Please explain to me how your ideology is so successful and right yet you cannot win the Congress or state and local elections? One of us is out of touch with reality and the electorate says it is you

No, that's why the government shouldn't
be passing laws to regulate what types of voluntary agreements we can enter.

Roy Moore has defeated Luther Strange in the GOP primary for the Alabama Senate seat previously occupied by Jeff Sessions:

The GOP establishment, including Mitch McConnell had backed Luther Strange over Roy Moore, and even President Trump had been persuaded to give a speech in support of Strange. Voters have given their verdict in support of Moore, even if their support for Trump is undiminished.

Since moore is a loon who is against equal rights and the Constitution id say this is a blow to all normal paper regardless of lean

You do realize that the entire point of right to work laws is to allow people to make a voluntary agreement on if they want to join a union.

By saying that this legislation hurts individuals is effectively saying that they should forced to join a union because they can't be trusted to make the decision themselves.

No, that is incorrect. The whole point of "right to work" laws is to regulate unions so as to erode their influence.

None of your dishonesty can change that fact.
