There’s off message and then there’s Mitt Romney’s son, Matt Romney, who suggested on Thursday that President Obama should release his birth certificate and grades before his father releases his tax returns.
“He’s certainly not afraid of anything, he’s not hiding anything,” he said of his father in a video recorded by a Patch reporter in New Hampshire. “But I heard someone suggest the other day that as soon as President Obama releases his grades and birth certificate and sort of a long list of things, that maybe he’d do that.”

Romney's son is a birther. How about that?
Doesn't sound like the kid is a birther, just a smack-mouthed youngster. One of Mitt Romney's sons has an answer for those who say his father should release his tax returns. He jokes that President Barack Obama should go first and release his birth certificate and other records.
Matt Romney's wisecrack came before an audience in New Hampshire on Friday.
In response on Twitter, the Obama campaign tweeted, in part, "Guess he doesn't have one of our mugs?"

40 yo is a youngster to me - most of my kids are over 40....He isn't really a youngster, he's 40 years old -- but he's definitely a smart-ass. I like smart-asses.

Typical crap out of the mouth of one of the priviledged children of Romney.
It is interesting that Romney and his 5 sons have never served one day in the military. I don't believe it is necessary for everyone to be in the military and not everyone is suited for it.
But I know in my own family I have served and one of my two sons has served in Army. Just find it amazing that out of six of them not one of these bluebloods ever felt the urge to serve.
Of course they knew that some other " lesser family " would take the burden of defending their country while they played golf at the country club.
So you acknowledge that military service isn't for everybody ... and then rag on Romney and his kids for not serving?

so you voted for the war hero in 2008 rather than the ticket that did not have ONE DAY of any kind of military service between its presidential candidate and its VP candidate?
Not at all, especially with the moron from Alaska as his VP.
Just a noteworthy fact is that McCain served as well did 3 of his 4 sons in the military.
Obama did not serve but his maternal grandfather served in the US Army and his paternal grandfather served for the British Army in Burma.
It seems like almost every American family has at least one member of each generaton who served in the military. I would not expect every male member of a family to serve but you would think there would be percentage of the able bodied male members to serve. Most American families have had at one generation or another members who served and been injured or killed in war as is the case for my family. It is the price we all pay so that our families live in peace in the USA.
Show me one Romney who has ever served his country.

Mitt Romney has done far more for this country than most people. there are lots of ways to "serve"

Depends on how you define family. Of the 20 or so cousins of my generation on my father's side, only one of us has served.
What the hell does it matter if any of them have?
Actually I wished nobody's son or daughter was in uniform. When in uniform you are hoping they make it back home safely. You know there are always going to be casualties in the military but you are really hoping it isn't your kin. Which makes you feel selfish as you are basically saying let that casualty be someone else's kid.
In a perfect world we could have families like the Romneys and never having to see their son wear the uniform.
I agree with you that there are many ways to serve ones nation.
Could you clarify for us what in Mitt Romeny's personal history you were referring to when you said he has done more for his country than most people?
You still haven't squared up how you can take issue with neither Romney nor any of his 5 kids serving, while simultaneously saying not everybody needs to or can serve. Given the fact that your last response wasn't actually a response to what I said, I won't hold my breath.
