Mitt Passes On Third Chance at Losing[w:263]

yes, why did the members of the underclass not go out and hire a lobbyist to re-write the laws in their favor?!

Why don't you support term limits and get rid of those politicians that can be bought by lobbyists? You think that Democrats aren't bought by lobbyists too? You don't think that liberal politicians haven't been bought by the poor? They stay in office because they cater to the poor and buy their votes by creating entitlements.

Right, the population grows, the pie grows but people like you are still left in the past waiting for someone else, the Federal govt., to bail you out for poor personal choices. How is that working out for you?

And your idea of success is 99% of us left in the "past". You have a strange and demented metric for success. It is you who will be left in the past very soon. The current situation is unsustainable. Speaking of pies...

99% have been left behind? Talk about a strange and demented point of view. I have seen nothing but demented points of view from you now for months and years. The current situation does nothing to lower costs and that is the problem. There isn't any govt. program that addresses costs but they do create dependence something you don't seem to have a problem with.

Mitt?
No he isn't as he passed.
:doh
Walker?
Says who? You?
:lamo

In the poll I linked to he is at 4% while Walker leads at 15%.

Here is their visual.

Ben Carson is ahead of Bush? OMG! That doesn't say much for Bush!
Did anybody say it showed any thing for Bush?
It was provided to show Walkers position with those voters.

Bloombrg is probably more reliable/accurate with their polling than simply polling Drudge readers.
Yet Drudge readers seem to have similar views.

So what you are saying is that naturally some folks are better achievers and investors than others.
Cry me river.

Show that that wealth wasn't earned legally and then you may have a point.

Give it up Con....you are the one making yourself look foolish. Sorry...but the facts continue to not be your friend. You can try shuffling and dancing around them...but the facts remain. Bush was on vacation and golfed much more than Obama has. Sorry...that's just the facts.

Really? Bush was on vacation? So he got to turn off his Blackberry, put his out of office attendant on his email, and say to his aides "I'm hitting the beach for the next few days. Let the country run itself. I'm out of here!"

I didn't know a President could do that. Let me guess. You saw some of Michael Moore's works.

Simply a falsehood.

Simply a falsehood.

There is a possibility that Disney didn't learn how to read in the California education system therefore did not read the article that was posted. Wonder if that is the case?

Simply a falsehood.

Not a falsehood at all....look at the facts. GWB took waaaaay more vacation time than Obama has (by an almost 4-1 count) http://www.factcheck.org/2014/08/presidential-vacations/

But the whole vacation/golf thing is silly anyway. Because someone becomes President they aren't allowed to take a vacation? and who cares what the President does in his free time, be it golf, going to movies, going to dinner, etc. Seriously.....

Your opinion noted but then again your opinion is biased, partisan and normally full of distortions and misinformation. Prove it. Then prove that Bush played more golf than Obama. Funny how those pesky things called facts make people like you look foolish and lacking credibility.

Kind of ironic coming from a man who's state is at or near the bottom in education and education spending. I guess Texas can't afford to put money into education with all the corporate welfare the state hands out. Guess that is why Texas is on the same level as Mississippi in so many of the quality of life indicators.

Too funny Con. You love to talk a big game (like your idol) but never back it up...and when presented with the facts you go into your Texas two-step shuffle....but we all know that already.

Moderator's Warning:
I find it ironic that those accusing others of reading comprehension problems seem to have said problems regarding reading the rules. Next violation will result in a thread-ban with infractions.

Yep, apparently that is why businesses and people are migrating to TX so they can experience poor education spending and poor education experience, low wages, and of course be uninsured, oh, by the way did I say no State income taxes and low cost of living? Seems like reading and economics aren't taught in California schools or colleges. How else can anyone explain the California debt, entitlements, cost of living?

I posted the article, read it

You mean these facts

As of August 12, 2014, Obama has taken 20 "vacations" lasting 2 to 15 days. He has spent all or part of 129 days on “vacation.”

And the president has made 33 visits to the official Camp David presidential retreat in Maryland, totaling all or part of 84 days. (Knoller does not count Camp David trips as “vacation.”)

Obama’s morning round of golf on Tuesday brought his total since January 2009 to 186
, with 22 of them on Martha’s Vineyard.

At this point in George W. Bush’s presidency, he had taken 58 trips to his Prairie Chapel ranch near Crawford, Texas, for all or part of 381 days. (Bush also frequently used the property to host world leaders).

Bush had also spent all or part of 26 days at his family’s oceanside compound in Kennebunkport, Maine, over the course of seven trips there.

And the former Texas governor had been to Camp David 108 times for a total of all or part of 341 days.

Bush played 24 rounds of golf as president.

Can you tell me how many foreign leaders visited Obama at Martha Vineyards and Hawaii?

Did you look?

Presidential Vacations
Q: Is it true that George W. Bush took more vacation days than Barack Obama?

A: Yes. Before his two-week trip to Martha’s Vineyard in August, Obama’s count was 125 full or partial days and Bush’s total at the same point in his presidency was 407.

Even by your OWN post Bush took 3X the number of vacations as Obama.

The point is, however, it is a silly argument anyway. I don't begrudge GWB for taking vacations. I bring it up when people make the silly arguments that Obama is on vacation. The bottom line is, every President should be able to take time off. In today's world, they are never truly on vacation and are only a cell phone call away. The Vice President is always available in the event they need to step in. I wouldn't want a President (Republican or otherwise) who is completely stressed out because they take no time off. Now...lets get back to something important and stop this petty nonsense talk...its just a silly argument.

Guess you missed the part where Bush hosted foreign leaders in Crawford which was deemed the Western WH. Guess you also missed the golf outings Obama has had even while not on vacation. What was that count again?

See post 269. Everything that needs to be said has been said. I'm not going to continue in this foolish nonsense. Sorry. You are just simply wrong.

We would be better off had he won. Screw the 47% of losers.

Hey now, I was once in that 47%, as was just about everyone.

That's the problem with his comments, it's not just 47% of our population, it's closer to 100%, who at some time during their life cycle, pays no net income tax.

Weren't you a 47%er once?

Not tying that bolded part back to what Helix posted, but you are 100% spot on CJ, and people seem to forget that. To read posts on this board over the last 2 years, you'd think Romney got 20 votes - 2 from the Koch brothers and the rest from his wife and kids. He managed to get almost 61 million votes (60,933,500) and carried 24 states in the election. The great incumbent hero rock star President got 65,915,796 votes and carried 26 states and DC.

For some reason Romney is historically and inaccurately minimized.

Obama is probably the most hated POTUS since Carter, and yet Romney still couldn't defeat him. That's pretty pathetic.

Yeah, says it all except for how many foreign leaders visited Obama at Martha's Vineyard or Hawaii and how many golf outings both had but that is ok, I expected that from you. Bush 24 golf outings vs Obama's 186, yes 186 is much less than 24

But as Gruber said the electorate simply wasn't very smart and ignored the Romney resume although 4 million fewer people voted for Obama in 2012 and those 4 million got it right as did all those who voted for Romney.
