Mitch McConnell will EVENTUALLY retire, and when he does, his “greatest” accomplishments will be quite literally decades of obstruction (along with somehow amassing a fortune of many millions along the way). Only God knows how much further we could be along as a nation in so many different areas (infrastructure?) had he not been able to basically single-handedly put the kibosh on so many potential bills. He has been out for himself first, the Repub Party second, and the good of the nation as a sometimes afterthought. Here are just a few of the headlines going back many years:
