And other judges will see this, too, and they'll 'get it'. As will other mayors, sheriffs, chiefs of police, members of congress, and ordinary activists. Even if there's ultimately no conviction, criminal defenses in federal cases can easily run into the hundreds of thousands of dollars. Who has that kind of cash laying around?

What Dugan is charged with doesn’t come within miles of those types of crimes committed by “dirty cops”.

She was giving aid to someone so that they could flee the police. That is a criminal act and she is a judge she no longer has any credibility to sit on the bench for the rest of her life. I would be okay if she didn't face any penalty other than never being allowed to be a judge or lawyer ever again.

A judge is someone who sits in a courtroom and passes judgment with regard to people's guilt or innocence in breaking the law. If such a person turns around and breaks the law their judgment is null and void.

Actually, there has been evidence, it just has not been presented in a court proceeding. Witness have already come forward regarding what they saw on that day in her courtroom. She was indicted on evidence neither you or I am privy to. What is your point?

It's the process we have, she'll have her day in court, the GJ thought there was enough to warrant a trial. That's all there is.
