I was in the Keswick area this weekend but missed this flypast. One of my favourite jet airplanes.

Anything else by anyone else?

B1 Bomber, never seen one in the flesh but would love to.

I have a plastic model of that, that I built when I was a boy.

Yeah I've got one as well, I still keep it despite the fact that one of the tracks came off and I never bothered to glue it back again :)

Fallen.

My tracks were actually made of pliable plastic segments and snapped together.

Saw one in Abilene TX once. Could barely hear it coming up but once it got there the ground shook! Man, what a testosterone rush!

I remember seeing concorde fly over on its round the world test flight when I lived in the Seychelles - EVERYTHING shook. Never had heard or imagined a sound like that could be created by man.

But, back to military hardware..

Built both of these as models when I was a kid.

Mine can't, it has plastic tracks made out of several solid parts that are simply glued together :)

Fallen.

I'd say my model is about 2-3" tall and 10" in length, and can be disassembled to view the interior. Even the cables strapped to the side of the tanks (for towing) are pieces of thin steel wire. I think I lost one of the arms of one crewmember and the antenna.

That sounds really cool! The most my model can do, is to turn the turret. (like when I'm physically turning it)

Fallen.

My favorite aircraft. I am bias, as I work on them.

And for the common warrior - the lightweight Smith & Wesson M&P R8, 8 round .357 Magnum with lower and upper picatinney rails for optics and laser/light. I've got one and it's a superb piece of engineering.

Looks like its all business. Whats in the speed loader?

Not sure what's in that loader. The ones I have come from Five Star and they hold 8 rounds. I have another piece coming by this weekend. It's the lightweight, 8 round Smith & Wesson Model 327, made out of scandium and titanium. Here's a photo of it. Good backup piece for the military when even 1911's hold 8 rounds, or it should be great for home defense.
