Migrants Attack 60 Minutes News Crew (Warning: Graphic Content)

Don't you think it's important to shine a light on extremist elements of society, regardless of who they are or what they stand for?
I think that any such group ought to be exposed.

What's the alternative? Pretend they don't exist? Isn't that more harmful than showing people what's going on in the world?
I'd rather be informed, even if that causes some discomfort, than uninformed.

I've never considered 60 Minutes to be particularly conservative, so I don't see bias as being a factor for airing this story. 60 Minutes exists in the U.S. too, it originated here so I'm well aware of their work. They seem to report on stories of every stripe, not just ones like this.
Sorry you couldn't watch the video Serenity, although I think you should reconsider.

60 minutes has always been unabashedly liberal.

The problem here is that most leftists aren't.

60 Minutes is a cover for far right hate reporting. Huh....who knew?

Obviously...the cameramen and reporter must have spent the first 10 minutes off camera screaming anti Muslim comments and insulting the Prophet and THATS why they attacked them. it only LOOKED like there was no provocation....

I sure miss those halcyon days of my youth when liberals were actually liberal, and so supported 60 minutes liberal outlook.

It has been downright weird (and a little scary) watching everything turn upside down since 1968 when it debuted.

WOW that is insane!!
I know, and these are the same people who think blocking traffic so that paramedics cannot save lives is freedom of speech.

I mock all forms of imaginary friends.

However, unlike you guys I don't insist on responding to them by abandoning core American values.
Values huh?

Preach preacha!

Don't you think it's important to remember that these are the actions of a tiny minority and we shouldn't condemn over a billion people because of it?

Has the Democrat party trademarked that slogan yet? They're missing out on a massive revenue stream, since Muslims make you guys repeat that daily, lol.
If the DNC got a 5 cent royalty every time someone said "they aren't all terrorists", they'd never have to hold another fundraiser!

Maybe it gets repeated because it's true? I see conservatives on this forum all the time routinely willing to condemn entire swaths of people for the actions of a handful. Why is that?

They aren't all like that!

By your very same rationale, I can post a list of all the homicides committed by white people, or black people, or whatever group I'd like, and use that as evidence that they're all like that.

Do you think all Muslims are terrorists or complicit in terrorist activity? Yes or no question.

Keep makin' those excuses :2wave:

Your question isn't a yes or no question, I think you know that. Ask me if I think Islam is dangerous, that'll be a definitive yes.
Ask me if I think Islam is bad for the U.S., another yes.

Those aren't homicides they are terrorists attacks... Go ahead and post all the terrorists attacks that whites have committed so far this year..

Do you think all Muslims are terrorists or complicit in terrorist activity? Yes or no question.

I'll answer this one for fun..

Absolutely not!!! The odds that there is not 1 single person that claims to be a muslim, that is not a terrorists or complicit in terrorist activity, in the entire world, is absolutely astronomically small..
I don't even think that this could be a possibility. There are so many people that just now decided to become a muslim or just started to identify themselves as a muslim, or are children, or from certin sects, it's absolutely impossible that every last one of them is a terrorists or complicit in terrorist activity..

Silly question...

How about a question for you?

Off the top of your head what percentage of all muslims do YOU think are a terrorists or complicit in terrorist activity?

Off the top of your head what percentage of all muslims do YOU think are a terrorists or complicit in terrorist activity?

I haven't the slightest idea, except that considering there are what, a billion and a half Muslims on the planet, the number is statistically quite small.

Excuses for what?

And sure it's a yes or no question. It's quite easy to manage. Orly managed. Why can't you?

Excuses for why Muslims worldwide behave the way they do.

I believe that a majority of Muslims worldwide support Muslim terrorism.

Let's see it.

Little Support for Terrorism Among Muslim Americans | Pew Research Center

http://www.newsweek.com/16-french-citizens-support-isis-poll-finds-266795
16% of French citizens have a positive opinion of ISIS. This percentage increases among younger respondents, spiking at 27% for those aged 18-24.

The survey also tested attitudes in Britain and Germany and found that 7% of British citizens responded favourably to ISIS. However, UK polling showed an inverse demographic trend to that of France, with support for ISIS rising with age. 4% of 18-24-year-olds saying they either strongly or somewhat support ISIS, compared to 6% of 24-35-year-olds surveyed and 11% of 35-44-year-olds. Positive attitudes to ISIS in Germany showed less divergence, remaining between 3% and 4% for all age groups.

The numbers are NOT statistically small.. The LOWEST numbers are NOT statistically small..

I would say Pakistan plummeting from 41 percent approval to 3 percent is amazing.

As bad as some of these numbers are, they do have to be taken into context.

Of course the Muslim world, as we know, is a pretty awful place. However, and this is in all seriousness, I think much of the support for what are considered terrorist acts come from a place of anger, not an ingrained holy desire to kill nonbelievers.

I fully intend to address these numbers later, but I really have to crash out now. I will address this with a clear head tomorrow.

But you understood the answer, right?

Of course, but the answer isn't valid when you didn't understand the question in the first place.
