Microsoft: being a lesbian is offensive

Pretty much. All information posted on profiles is on their servers while voice has many applications that are really tough if not impossible to monitor.
 
What part of this game gives you the ability to identify anything personal?

I come from UO and WoW, and we can't post personal info...in fact 99% of what's displayed is automatically filled in by the game and is only about the character.

Microsoft is likely going to start monitoring voice at some point in the future, if not soon. Last October they applied for a patent for real-time censoring of audio streams. The most obvious application is Xbox live

Back in 2004 Microsoft applied for a patent for real-time censoring of audio streams, and now the USPTO has granted that patent.

As PC gamers have known for a long time, and Xbox gamers have known for a while, playing against other humans online is a much more enjoyable experience than beating a computer. Thanks to the advent of teamspeak, you can game with others as if they were in your living room, without having to worry about them knocking their drinks over and staining the carpet. However, the somewhat anonymous nature of the internet means you also encounter individuals who lack the sort of internal filter that prevents most of us from blurting out streams of profanity that would make Mr. Tourette blush.

More often than not, the profanasaurus on the other end of the mike is a schoolboy still at the age where yelling random insults at strangers seems amusing, but it only takes one moron to spoil a good time. The patent involves real-time (or batch) analysis of an audio stream that can recognize inappropriate language based on phonemes, and then overwrite objectionable words with bleeps, other noises, or silence.

XBOX appears to be more robust in personalization features while WoW is more or less offering a forum and armory without customized profiles. WoW and Battlenet forums don't allow you to post sexual information in the only field provided for personalization, the signature pane.

In comparison, WoW seems to be less about social networking outside of the game.
 
Microsoft is notorious for this kind of crap. They've banned a few games because they found them to be too offensive too. They obviously don't know their market too well because I can't think of a bigger fan of lesbians than male post-pubescent gamer nerds.
 
This is an example why it is reasonable for people to despise gay rights activists and refuse to offer any support to them. It is a severe psychological disturbance, severe narcism, possibly a sexual perversion and sickening harassment intrusion into other people’s lives to incessantly throw your sexuality at them regardless of how irrelevant it is.

When the gay rights movement shifted their claims from one of equality and liberty, to instead claim they are genetic anomalies and now even trying to prove their brains are shaped different and all of that, in a sense they have gone from describing themselves as a separate racial group to now virtually a different species. I don’t have to like different species and could legitimately oppose their being treated the way I am because they aren’t the same species as I am.

I thought it tragic when the gay movement shifted from “you fall in love with a person, not a gender” to the claim a person’s sexuality is determined at conception.

Since gay activists credit their behavior not to their intellect but to uncontrollable urges due to birth anomaly, in this could be the reality that within that birth and brain DNA anomaly are dangerous and violent instincts.

I’ve always wondered by so many gays, usually gay men, tend to throw such extreme emotional tantrums of sobbing self-pity and blind furious rage at people who disagree with them. That also might be in the identical genetics that makes them homosexuals – meaning incompatible with the opposite gender.

If a person for genetic reason can’t handle someone outside their own gender on a romantic, love, relationship or sexual level, its not much of a leap that they on the overall level just can’t handle people who are different. It might, for genetic reasons, be that gay men not only are misogynic by their genetics but also are uncontrollably xenophobic by that identical genetics.

Gays can’t have it both ways in terms of what they claim. They can’t claim they are both genetically exclusive and genetically no different. They can’t both claim the have a genetic disability that should be protected and that they are no different from anyone else.

Microsoft made the right decision. The uncontrolled impulses of some gays to inject their sexuality into everything and at everyone else is something they should address with a psychiatrist, not raging about their right to throw sexuality at others online in games with kids.

If Microsoft tried to build its game industry around gays they'd be out of business quick. Heterosexual couples have lots of children. Gay couples don't. I would guess for every 1 person who won't allow Microsoft games in their house because Microsoft doesn't allow its game network to become gay chat rooms and gay personal listings, there are 1,000 anti-gay or anti-youth sex parents would would ban Microsoft gaming if they went along with this sexuality invasion obsession. I personally know many Christians (not one myself) that would absolutely ban anything about Microsoft from their children if it came to involve sexuality issues being put at their children through their game network. It also could put Microsoft gaming being banned by parental porn and sexuality blocking programs.

I can understand where you are comming from. I dont mind at all if someone is gay or not but it seems so many people that are gay wrap there entire lives around that one quality. They want everyone around them to know repeatedly that they are gay.
Now of course Im not saying all homosexuals do this but I have meet alot that do. Im not sure why they have to pronounce their sexuality so frequently but they do and it can get on ones nerves. Ok you are gay, I am not so lets move on.

Do heterosexuals not wrap their entire lives around that quality? Look at all the sexual representation on TV and movie and print media. The entire world is based on heterosexuality. This is why the heterosexuals want to lock gays and lesbians out of it because the straight folks think they own it.

I know every minute of everyday that someone is straight. They hug kiss and make sexual displays all the time.

I am not sure we are on the same page.

Heterosexuals that I know dont feel the need to make it a point to mention daily that they are heterosexual. They dont generally bring it up in conversations that have no sexual relevance. I hear alot of homosexuals that want to make sure that reguardless of the subject they must proclaim to the persons around that they are gay very often. I dont understand why they feel they need to drive it home so frequently. It is almost as if they are still trying to convince themselves instead of others.

When talking to people in the real world unless the subject happens to be sexual orientation I can not ever remember pronouncing being heterosexual. I feel no need for people to know that information. Its not a defining quality for me.

Heterosexuals also don't have to overcome coming out to their friends and family knowing that they could lose everyone because of something as silly as sexual orientation. Considering that, I can certainly understand anyone who would want to shout it from the rooftops. It must be an exhilarating feeling to not have to hide who you really are anymore.

Hell yeah it would be! But if hiding who you really are also prevents prosecution and the discovery of 28 corpses buried in your backyard, sometimes you just have to bear that burden.

Exactly nothing prevents you from holding hands or kissing your mate in public. This is still another example of a gay trying to find any way to declare being a victim when they’re not. If you can’t handle people looking negatively at you that’s your problem. Counseling could maybe help. Excessively needing approval of others is possibly a form of excessive and self-destructive narcissism.

People not only sometimes look at me negatively but on rare occasions have confronted me as though I’m a pedophile when my wife and I make out in public. Most people would guess she’s 15 and petitely childlike and many would guess I’m 35 and look like a Hell’s Angel – both wrong. I don’t have a problem with it. She gets a kick out of it. Sometimes I’ll respond that I can do any damn thing I want with my 15-year-old step-sister or that they couldn’t afford her. She’ll tell them its too late anyway because I already took her virginity while acting very timid and nervous. Let them call the cops if they want. One time someone did in the motel room next us did and I was even handcuffed briefly for how she was answering their questions (truthful but evasively) to play it out as long as she could. One of the officers said he really wanted to beat me with his baton and called me all sorts of terrible names.

Harassed and intimated merely for kissing my little opposite gender mate? Just more examples of our society filled with heterophobic bigots. Handcuffed and threatened by the police? Certainly another example of damn heterophobic cops looking for any reason to harass heterosexuals.

This topic of Microsoft isn’t about criminalizing gayness. It is about Microsoft not allowing their online games for kids to become a sexuality political activist campaign targeting children or gay chat and gay personal listings soliciting 12 year olds. It has nothing to do with gays. It has to do with sexuality being injected into their online game playing. I doubt they will allow "Bill ***** F…ker" either.

If you really need to tell children you otherwise will never see in your life that you’re gay, you could stand in front of an elementary school holding up a sign reading “I’M A LESBIAN!” with an arrow pointing down at you while French kissing your mate.

Of course you want to be able to do more than that. You want the sign to also read: “CHILDREN LEAVE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS HERE” too. Then you could howl about the homophobic principal and gay-bashing local police when they ran you off.

Its frustrating now that people don’t harass you much for being a lesbian, isn’t it? Keep looking. Someone, somewhere, must still be willing to give you a hard time over it. Maybe some kids somewhere.
