That PSA with the dude driving to his parents house is frigging hilarious.
And how on earth is it creepy North Korea cult stuff for the government to put out a pretty generic public service announcement? Do you also freak the **** out when they tell your children not to play around downed power lines?

And the non-sequitur of the year goes to........(drum roll).............
Take it easy. They're really scared.
You too!
I am thankful that I will be able to afford the medical bills from my electrocution. Thanks, Obama!

Before the dumbing down of America, you never had to tell children not to play around with downed power lines.
When you're five years old and sticking your finger in an energized light socket was a lesson learned that you carried around for life.
And what's with all these kids wearing bike helmets anyway?
Back when America was great you cracked your skull on the sidewalk and that's how you learned to fall on your arm next time!
Didn't have car seats either -- if you went through the windshield it was your own damn fault!
Whatever happened to personal responsibility?!?!?

Can you really not tell the difference? She is telling people to tell their families to sign up for Obamacare, a highly debated partisan policy. Telling children not to play around downed power lines is not a political statement.
Thanksgiving is a time for family and commercialism, not heated political debates among family.
Health insurance is not a highly debated partisan policy. "Obamacare" is not a thing you can sign up for. I can't send a check to Obama and get medical bills covered.

Semantics, the ACA is Obamacare which is this president's signature achievement of his time in office.
You can't "sign up" for the ACA. It's not a health insurance policy. This isn't semantics. The PSA is encouraging you to talk to your family members about buying health insurance. The only reason to think it's a partisan issue is if you're such a partisan hack that buying the same insurance policies from the same insurance companies suddenly became upsetting because a Democrat set up a website to do it.
I am perfectly happy with what I got and always had, I just want to be left alone and for life to continue on without having to worry if a letter someday will show up in my mailbox telling me I no longer have what I had. If this was only about getting the uninsured insurance, then that is exactly what it would do. Obamacare would get those without insurance their insurance and leave everyone else alone. It is quite that simple. But it is something a whole lot more than just getting the uninsured insurance. If it wasn't everyone who had insurance prior to March of 2010 would still have it and only those without insurance would need to talk about getting insurance. No one else.
I blame Obama.
That turkey is getting at you. Your feeling tired and need to lie down and take a little snooze. A good turkey dinner does that to you. Something about a narcotic drug being in the turkey gravy.
I know you really meant to say >"Didn't have any car seat belts."<
But I remember driving a car once that didn't have any car seats and I used a dinning room chair as a car seat.
I fell asleep a little after 7p last night and slept soundly until 0330 this morning, I think you are right about the gravy becaue I did not really over do it yesterday. I have driven a pickup, I think it was, with a folding lawnchair for a seat.
A Turkey is a feathered bird that contains tryptophan which causes you to become sleepy after you consume that creature.
You may have noticed yesterday (Thanksgiving) how slow it was on the DP. I noticed at one time there was only one mod on the DP and the usual trouble makers were pretty calm, even down stairs. That's because typtophan is also an antidepressant.
TRYPTOPHAN - ORAL side effects, medical uses, and drug interactions.
More propaganda from dear leader.
"You should get health insurance" is such a sinister agenda.
Today the regime is creating advertisements about health insurance...
Tomorrow they'll establish the Ministry of Plenty and five year plans. If Obama advocates drinking clean water we'd be best to go to the waste treatment plants to suck down raw sewage.
