Memory lapses: Joe Biden's Mental Decline

I am in the same MIL boat with you, and I think Trump is in dementia, yes.

I have not seen any signs that would convince me that Trump has dementia. Not saying it isn't so, but I am not seeing it. I do however see signs in Biden, and I honestly feel it has gotten more noticeable in the past year. Perhaps, seeing more of Joe Biden for lengthier timeframes would alter my opinion.

Trump, by your own corruption standards, is the biggest winnah of all.

How so? Please explain my corruption standards and show how Trump "is the biggest winnah of all". Give details.

There is no question of Fauci doing any such thing, but there is for your blatant criminal accessory before the fact enhancement of Covid19.

What "blatant criminal accessory before the fact"? Give details.

He is not autistic.
Why are people ruling it out? I'm not saying he is, only that like many adults, he could be undiagnosed. Some things like messing up words and basically thinking faster than you get your words out, being socially awkward are signs of autism. He exhibits those signs and seems to have done so for decades.

He has no symptoms of autism.

I am well aware about the pitfalls of dementia, as I am currently caring for Mother in law and its something I deal with on a daily basis. You believe Joe is autistic?
And I deal with personally forgetting facts and people and places or at least words daily, and have most of my own life. I have bouts of being socially awkward, unable to determine what is appropriate. These claims against Biden forgetting things or jumbling words aren't new, coming on in the last few years.

I have called siblings honey, my husband my dad, people I simply know by the wrong names. My husband complains about my use of the word "whichamacalit" because I cannot find the word I'm searching for. Its frustrating and raises anxiety. I see similar things in Biden and much of what he's done is things I've done myself at 39.

I've given you some of the symptoms. We have no idea whether he had others that could have been overcome, controlled with age.

Stuttering is a symptom.

Autism and speech | Network Autism

What he has described from his childhood are symptoms of autism. Speech problems is why my son was diagnosed. That is one of the major signs of autism, speech problems. Not all those who are autistic are severely so. Some are moderate or mild.

Now not all who have speech problems are autistic. But there are some other things that could be seen as signs of autism. The sudden change in his mood towards certain people, especially when something is frustrating him. The social issues, lack of noticing, taking heed to personal boundaries.

Then list it from the DSM 5

Sure...you go with that. Biden thought he was running for the United States Senate on Super Thursday.

Stuttering is not on the DSM 5 criteria and can be completely independent of autism.

For those of you who refuse to accept the truth about Joe Biden's mental decline, this is for you:

Joe Biden thinks he has 5 grandchildren, when he actually has 7, and people still want to proclaim he is mentally fit to be president?

I just don't get it... TDS is the only thing that explains such a disconnect.

.

You Trump worshipers make me laugh, you gotta be kidding...here's your stable genius! This is for YOU, Grim17. By the way, where did Trump say his father was born again? I just don't get it, how you Trump worshipers refuse to accept the truth about Cadet Bonespurs.....only thing that explains it is a brainwashed cult. :2razz:

Yes it can. But that doesn't mean his stuttering is not connected to being autistic, which shouldn't be seen as a disorder either. It is simply being neurological atypical. The pathways work differently than "normal". To what extent and which ones, including how many function at that different determines how severely autism is seen in a person.

Joe Biden's Stutter, and Mine - The Atlantic

In Bidens childhood, autism wasn't even on the radar as something diagnosed except a very few severe cases that appeared "different" from mentally retarded.

I've stated I worked for past employers, mistakenly. Ive called a brother Chief "Chief" without thinking, something that isn't normal. I've said wrong names more than a few times.

If you don't know how their mind is working, you can't say why they made such "oopsies". You are assuming. I am not ruling out the possibility he is suffering mental decline but I'm also not going to agree to it without a lot more evidence.

TDS is what causes Trumpsters to make absurdly hypocritical comments like yours.

What type of evidence would it take? How do you intend to get it?

Joe Biden's mental decline

DAWSEY: You said yesterday when you were leaving that you were skeptical of a climate change report that the government had done. Can you just explain why you’re skeptical of that report?

TRUMP: One of the problems that a lot of people like myself — we have very high levels of intelligence, but we’re not necessarily such believers. You look at our air and our water, and it’s right now at a record clean. But when you look at China and you look at parts of Asia and when you look at South America, and when you look at many other places in this world, including Russia, including — just many other places — the air is incredibly dirty. And when you’re talking about an atmosphere, oceans are very small. And it blows over and it sails over. I mean, we take thousands of tons of garbage off our beaches all the time that comes over from Asia. It just flows right down the Pacific, it flows, and we say where does this come from. And it takes many people to start off with.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/poli...shington-post-interview-transcript-annotated/

DAWSEY: So you’re saying you don’t see the —

TRUMP: Josh, you go to other places where they have denser trees — it’s more dense, where the trees are more flammable — they don’t have forest fires like this, because they maintain. And it was very interesting, I was watching the firemen, and they’re raking brush — you know the tumbleweed and brush, and all this stuff that’s growing underneath. It’s on fire, and they’re raking it, working so hard, and they’re raking all this stuff. If that was raked in the beginning, there’d be nothing to catch on fire. It’s very interesting to see. A lot of the trees, they took tremendous burn at the bottom, but they didn’t catch on fire. The bottom is all burned but they didn’t catch on fire because they sucked the water, they’re wet. You need forest management, and they don’t have it.

(SAME)

We’ll have an economy based on wind. I never understood wind. You know, I know windmills very much. I’ve studied it [sic] better than anybody I know. It’s [sic] very expensive. They’re made in China and Germany mostly, very few made here, almost none. But they’re manufactured — tremendous, if you’re into this, tremendous fumes, gases are spewing into the atmosphere. You know we have a world, right? So the world is tiny compared to the universe. So [a] tremendous, tremendous amount of fumes and everything — you talk about the “carbon footprint” — fumes are spewing into the air, right? Spewing. Whether it’s in China, Germany, it’s going into the air. It’s our air, their air, everything, right?

Did Trump Really Say This About Wind and Windmills?

....why you think crap like the above is evidence that Trump is a stable genius, not a demented imbecile. Or, I hope it's the reason. If you really do think that is genius rhetoric, oh boy...

And because you always respond to counter-points with lies, evasions, and thread-jumping, let's get one thing clear: in a presidential election where only two candidates are running and someone attacks one candidate, the measure of the other candidate on the same scale becomes not only relevant but 100% necessary. And as usual, Trump is far worse than the candidate your partisanship demands you attack.

I dare you to dishonestly squeal "whattaboutism" and make excuses for why you're scarpering yet again. Double-dare. Do it.

Or you can whine about post editing, even though the entirety of my post is about how there's no way Biden's supposed incoherence matches Trump and even though none of the words you typed matter. The only thing that would matter is Biden's performance. Go on. Cry "whattaboutism! Post editing! I'm taking my ball and going home!" You know you want to do it.

You are projecting based on personal experience. It is like saying trump has schizophrenia because he says things that appear delusional

So what's your opinion about Trump's signs of dementia in post #35? Not there, you're not seeing it?

Then list it from the DSM 5
Diagnosing autism is generally based off of childhood investigations into the multiple things that go into it. We cannot know.

But we do know that many people have been found to be autistic after reaching adulthood because their symptoms were dismissed as other things, quirks, social issues, speech problems. It being a possibility does not and should not have any bearing on his ability to be President since there is nothing wrong with being autistic.

There is nothing wrong with having cancer either. It's a diagnosis...not a moral judgment.

Biden does not have autism

What type of evidence would it take? How do you intend to get it?
It would take a study of his childhood. Likely unless he or siblings, friends, other relatives can actually remember, it would be hard to diagnose. I don't intend to get anything. I'm presenting a possible explanation besides "senility" when someone seems to have been doing such things for a while.

What in the hell is wrong with you?

You make BS assumptions, put words in my mouth, lie about what I post, and to top it off, couldn't stay on topic if you life depended on it...

Get some help man.

Biden does not have autism
Cancer causes health problems. Autism is simply thinking different than the normal, having neurons that fire different and/or at a different rate than most peoples work. Most people have autism without any real affect on their lives except they are different than the norm.

Then so are others in saying he is senile, going senile, facing dementia. I said it is a possibility. Why is that so hard to accept? What problem do you have with autism?

Autism is diagnosed because it causes problems in the persons life. It is never diagnosed in someone who reports no problems or others report no problems

Because you simply provide ammunition to others looking for a reason not to vote for biden.

Let's speculate he has cancer because you saw a mole on his hand.
