Measles is one of the most contagious diseases and can be dangerous in babies and young children. The best protection against measles is the MMR vaccine.

Historic achievement​

Measles was declared eliminated from the United States in 2000. This meant the absence of the continuous spread of disease was greater than 12 months. This was thanks to a highly effective vaccination program in the United States, as well as better measles control in the Americas region.

Sadly following the appointment of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as Health and Human Services Secretary in early 2025, the U.S. has experienced its largest measles outbreak in decades.

Where measles vaccination rates are very low the disease is the leading cause of childhood blindness.

It's not just RFK Jr who is the complete Nut Job regarding vaccinations. There's been a movement going on for a while and tons of people are going to die because of it.
 
RFK is part of the anti-vaxxer movement.

And the anti-vaxxer movement is 100% responsible for the outbreaks.

Anti-vaxxers are pretty much the biggest morons on the planet.

RFK has a bachelors degree in history and literature, a juris doctor and a Master of Laws.

Not an inkling of education in any biological science or any science at all.

But people happily slop up on his crap that he knows NOTHING about.

I will listen to people that actually have Ph.D.'s in microbiology and other appropriate related fields and who base their assertions on peer reviewed research.

An endorsement of the measles, mumps and rubella vaccine by Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has provoked an angry outcry from anti-vaccine activists.

"The most effective way to prevent the spread of measles is the MMR vaccine," Kennedy said in the third paragraph of a lengthy post on the social media platform X. Kennedy made the post following meetings on Sunday in Gaines County, Texas with the families of two children who have died of measles during a recent outbreak in the state. The same kind of thinking twenty years ago had members of Al Qaeda killing vaccine doctors and nurses in Pakistan and yet today Pakistan is leading the region in vaccinations.

And let's not forget, with the Kennedy name and his dad having been the assassinated senator from the state, he still managed to get himself expelled from the most prestigious prep school in the country.

The MMR permanently damaged my son when he was just starting out in life.

I cannot endorse this medication. It should always be voluntary. Mandates are evil.

There has never been a wide spread mandate to receive any vaccination in the US. 🤷‍♀️

Good. The US is one of the most advanced countries in the world when it comes to medical research. There's no good reason to be backsliding when it comes to the health of your citizens.
