McCain ‘amazed’ by Palin treatment

I could give you a long list of REASONS to support her; but they would all be met with the same deer in headlights stare and then some rant about how stupid I am.

So you can't show where the support for Sarah Palin is? Not much support if you can't verify it....what is that word you like to use? FACTS? Tiger Balm 08.

But here is another great example of intelligence from your guys:

YouTube - Obama - EXPOSED ! He knew about Wright all along

So you still can't come up with the support that Palin is getting? Here I'll help ya :

Rasmussen Reports™: The most comprehensive public opinion coverage ever provided for a presidential election.

Fifty-six percent (56%) now have a favorable view of Biden, including 25% who say that view is Very Favorable, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey. Fifty-three percent (53%) view Palin favorably, but 35% say their opinion of her is Very Favorable.

Forty-seven percent (47%) have an unfavorable view of the first-term Alaska governor, compared to 41% who say that of Biden, a member of the Senate since 1973. Yet while just 21% have a Very Unfavorable opinion of Biden, 33% say that of Palin (see full demographic crosstabs).

Forty-nine percent (49%) say Biden is prepared to be president, but only 32% believe that of Palin. Over half of voters (56%) say Palin is not ready to be president, while just 34% say Biden is not prepared.

Funny.

Yes folks, you cannot fabricate this level of lying and deceipt; but all this does not matter when one is the messiah!

:stooges

So....Palin is a joke? Mkay.

Palin should never have entered the political arena if she, and her supporters, weren't ready for her to take the heat. I have no compassion for her particularly because of the whining right who have incessantly latched onto the rhetoric that Palin has been abused and mischaracterized by everyone but them. So my response is so what; part of the game of politics and too gawd-damn bad.

Let's see:
  1. Her rhetoric has been inflammatory, dishonest, and full of backtracking.
  2. She claims to have made jokes when she doesn't understand things.
  3. She can't handle the press now, how will she handle them when she's in office?

Reminds me of someone who is always a jerk and then when confronted on it, acts like a victim.

I beg to disagree with you, Palin is an outstanding choice compared to this buffoon:

YouTube - Biden Heals the Lame!

Good lord, you just can't make this stuff up!

The notion that Democrats have not used inflammatory, dishonest, and full of backtracking requires willful ignorance. People in glass houses need to beware casting stones everywhere.

But let's take a look at how Barack's running mate really sees things:

YouTube - Even Joe Biden does not believe in Barack Obama!

Yes folks, the Democrats want you to think that Palin is the dumb one, but what does that say about their side with 26 years in the Senate?

You cannot make this level of ignorance up!

DNC, come and get your kool-aid :drink

They have painted that woman as an ignorant, backwoods bimbo despite her running a state with policies that have led to budget surpluses, increased job growth, and putting the big oil companies back in their place...not to mention the number she did on cleaning up the corruption in her own party.
No, no one has portrayed palin as an ignorant backwoods bimbo other than Palin herself.
YouTube - Tina Fey quotes Sarah Palin word for word
Bailout has what to do with health care exactly?

Add onto that refuses to respond to how the moderator asked her questions during the debate and said she's only going to play by what she wants to.

The thing is i dont like the way people in the media talk about her it is insulting but the feeling i feel about it is pity and pity isnt something you should feel for someone potentially becoming the vice president.I dont like it because i dont like it when someone who is completely out of their depth is getting picked on by people much smarter than them.

True

True, and I agree, it's like picking on the retarded kid in class. They can't help it, that's just what they are.
In this case however I see it very differently.
Herself and the campaign insist that she is up to the task, yet clearly, she is not. It is the job of the media to ask the tough questions and demand an answer with follow up questions when the answer given is non-sensicle.
So, though it's not her fault for being a bimbo, she is also clearly not deserving of the position nor anywhere near that position. It's surprising enough that she would be elected to the governorship. But then you don't need to know about foreign policy, healthcare reform, relationship of wallstreet and the health of national economy, to be the chieftan in Alaska, just need to know about issues that matter to Alaskans and she probably does.
Everythingelse though, bimbo.

It's inarguable that Palin has been put through some of the most vicious partisan attacks and dishonest media portrayal ever seen in an election.

Seriously? Do you remember 2000?

Bush and Co. put out flyers at McCain events saying that McCain adopted a child who was actually his kid from a black prostitute. Show me something even close to that done to Palin.

And Bush and Co. brought up the issue of McCain's divorce to his first wife during the primaries and alluded to the idea that he had cheated as well.

No one has pulled those kind of Rovian tactics on Palin.

Much of the crap Palin has gotten was due to her own dumb, rookie comments.

I don't know Jfuh, I think a Presidential candidate who thinks he has been to FIFTY SEVEN states with ONE more to go; having of course not been to Hawaii or Alaska....okay let me see here, that makes actually SIXTY states right Obama?

Sarah was at least talking about something very complex that I am sure you cannot even begin to grasp, or Tina Fey for that matter. But not knowing how many states there are and ending up with 60? That takes REAL intellect I tell ya.

YouTube - Obama Claims He's Visited 57 States

Yes folks, you just cannot feign this level of ignorance.

I don't know I thought the crap about her kid, trig or twig or whatever was over the top. First the baby was really her daughters and she was just lying and passing it off as her own. Then when that was put to bed the big issue became how abusive she was for not rushing immediately to the hospital the moment she felt a labor twang.

I do agree though that she makes herself an easy target and thus a good deal of the crap she gets is self instigated. I mean how hard would it be to name one freaking publication that you read regularly? She completely sucks at evading questions in a general sort of way. Tons of politicians don't answer the question that was put to them. But they manage to sound intelligent while obviously being invasive. Palin often comes off looking like she just didn't understand the question. Plus I can't stand her constant use of catch phrases like, "joe sixpack." That crap really gets on my nerves. Her voice is like nails on a chalkboard but that's probably not her fault.

She said that because you can see russian from alaska that it gives her insight into US Russian relations

So what are you saying jfuh, that you CANT see Russia from parts of Alaska?????

Got a link for that?

But, as this video segment go, let's also not forget that the arrogant attempts by Charlie Gibson was to show that Palin has no foreign policy experience.

But what Charlie, the DNC and the Liberals don't want you to know is that Obama does not either. But to compound their irony, Palin is NOT the Presidential Candidate, she is a Vice Presidential candidate.

But here is the guy who YOU want to be dealing with complex foreign policy issues:

YouTube - Barack Obama "Uh" Count

So a misspeak is a valid reason to not vote for somebody, but being unable to name a newspaper you read is just the evil biased media being evil?

Good point. Had Palin said she went to 57 states jfuh would be pissing himself and rolling around on the floor over how incredibly stupid she is.

Since the messiah did it it's excused.

We call this arrogance. Palin doesn't need anyone's sympathy or pity; the mainstream media needs it for the shameful way they have removed all civility in this campaign in their desperate efforts to get a candidate they have pre-determine should win the election and exposed themselves as anything BUT unbiased and journalistic.

This is media payback for McCain not letting them in beforehand who he would choose, and for having the audacity to pick someone they didn't choose.

No rocket science here. Then you have partisans on this forum desperately carrying the media's and Obama's water, not THINKING, but rather parroting the same lines used by the media.

The truth is both tickets are pure ****. We should revolt and refuse to vote.

So what are you saying jfuh, that you CANT see Russia from parts of Alaska?????

You should re-read that sentence and understand what it says. Not that it's not possible to see Russia from any part of Alaska (which I doubt but maybe it's true, I'd like to see some proof that you can); but rather that the claim that being able to see Russia from Alaska gives insight to foreign relations and affairs with Russia is erroneous.

Quit being obtuse td, I already said to you paraphrased of exactly what she said in the video.
Gibson asked her about foreign policy she responded that Russia was their neighbor and you can see it as the answer.

Russia as your neighbor does not mean you have foreign policy expereince.

None of that video demonstrates anything other than a good laugh.

And that's on the same level as saying that McCain really adopted the kid he had with a black prostitute? Much of the attacks on Palin about her kid were in the context of conservative ideas on sex ed, which is somewhat valid as she's a social conservative. True, the whole kid as her own was pretty messed up, but nowhere near the level of claiming that your opponent got a prostitute pregnant and then adopted that kid and that he cheated on his wife who was in the hospital. At best the Palin kid incident is wannabee Rove.

Pretty much. The recent polls on independents seem to confirm that sentiment. Biden crushed Palin on most issues 2 to 1.

I'm sorry, what part of this thread claiming Palin is a moron for factually saying you can see parts of Alaska from Russia but how Obama claiming he has been to 57 states with one more to go, not having been to Hawaii and Alaska, did you not get?

Your selective filtering of information is quite amazing.

Carry on.
