Again, you are shooting from the hip, espousing things that simply are not true, even though you believe them to be. I posted third party evidence to backup my point that there is indeed a shortage of workers that existed BEFORE the pandemic.
A labor shortage is jeopardizing economic expansion in almost every state, putting pressure on lawmakers to find ways to attract more residents and coax people who have dropped out of the workforce to rejoin it. States are offering financial incentives to entice prodigal natives to move home and...

This government paying people to stay at home has some validity to it, but it is not the problem. It contributes in a small way, but states have already shown that ending unemployment is not ending the problem. The pandemic took 700,000 lives; they aren't returning to the workforce AND it had a great many reconsidering why they are working in the first place. The labor participation rate fell off a cliff. Many of them are not returning as well, choosing lifestyle over a job that doesn't pay all that well and where employers should a disregard for work health and safety.

So, again.... we had the worker shortage going into the pandemic (see my previous posts) + 700K died (Alabama had more deaths than births) + millions have made the conscious decision not to come back. An expanding economy needs more workers. We have a shortage of workers. I also no this first hand as I deal with franchised businesses AND previously had a franchise where it became very difficult to find unskilled workers (and I was paying 30% above minimum wage)....
So, its clear that you are ignorant on this issue and seemingly happy in your ignorance. But, for anyone reading this, its pretty clear that I have made my point: most people that are against immigration are not against it for any rational reason. When they do argue it, they string together an argument based on impressions, not on facts. Frankly, I think this is all about bigotry. You really won't admit your (global your) bigotry so you feign reasons that sound good. When its pointed out the reasons actually have no factual basis, you really don't want to hear it. Prove me wrong ..... but let's see some research behind your posts.
