SANTA ANA, Calif. (KABC) -- A man was killed after being hit in the head with a skateboard in an act of self-defense during a fight in a Santa Ana Starbucks.

Around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, a fight broke out between two men in the 3300 block of South Bristol Street. Authorities received calls regarding an assault with a deadly weapon inside the Starbucks.
 
When will we finally get serious about skate board control in this country. We need background checks, waiting periods, safe storage. one board a month rules. No one needs a skateboard, it’s just compensating for their shortcomings in life
 
I see the direction you're taking, and I agree, but myself, I've never argued a skateboard can't be a weapon. It's not a baseball bat, but dangerous nonetheless.

Having said that, I'm not entirely onboard either side in this trial. I don't believe Rittenhouse is being entirely honest, and the judge is just an odd old coot. I'll wait to hear from the jury to decide.

You don't need a jury to tell you that a skateboard is dangerous when swung at someone's head. In fact, it can be deadly.

Hey, ya'll...the article is a few years old. I didn't miss that at all. You know what that means? Absolutely nothing. The guy was still killed by being struck by a skateboard. People were downplaying the danger that Rittenhouse was in when he was defending himself. That's it. That's the only point being made here. That it is old doesn't make the dude less dead from being struck by a skateboard.

Come up with something less stupid as a rebuttal.

Do you always post stupid shit? ****ing dude was killed by a skateboard and you're like "He WaS oVeR 50" and then for some stupid reason you brought up that he got into a fight, which is literally not the point. He could've been twisting puppy heads off when he was killed and it still means getting struck in the head with a skateboard is dangerous, and can be lethally so.
