Jimmy Carter got a lot of attention with his Malaise in America Speech during his Presidency. This is an intersting article that indicates Carter may no longer be mentioned with the word malaise. What we are experiencing now is worse than during the Carter years and the damage more severe.

I agree with you, but you posted this in the wrong forum. It's an opinion piece, not breaking news.
 
As bad a prez as Carter was, he was an honorable statesman, and to my knowledge, never publicly laid blame on fellow Americans for that dark period in our history.
 
Neither did Reagan, who was a stand-up guy himself.
 
My error and apology, wasn't sure where to post that and thank Captain Courtesy for moving it to the right forum.
 
I agree, Carter was a good man who became bitter in his old age.
