It still should be. I've seen so many tragedies..and downright horror stories RE children born of unmarried women. Yes, there are a few success stories
.and by Success I mean Moral success..raising kids to not be criminals and or malignant narcissists, etc
If formication were outlawed, all women would be protected .. virtually all, I mean..from selfish, game playing, abusive

And our children would be.. more of them would b e raised properly.
Less criminals in our system..less violent crime
Once we enact the mandatory bible classes things will improve

At first, those who are "Players", will get lots of action, and start many babes... and then the girls/women will start to see that Baby-Daddies bring them a larger welfare check, but not enough to cover the costs.

My wife of 35+ years, mother of my two daughters, became mortally ill, and required surgery. There are pieces missing, and sex is not an option. I occasionally Coke-the-Chicken. Its been ten years, and my wife and I are more in love than ever. I am older now, almost 60, so the need is waning.
We are Happy together.

I am sinner, as all people are. The son-of-god, Jesus, died in pain, to gain forgiveness for that sin, as long as I try to be a good, tolerant, peaceable and faithful man.
But the world is bigger, than just the gift of Jesus. Wiccans make very good neighbors. We don't take ourselves too seriously.

Perhaps he just recognizes that fatherlessness is a very serious, society wide, problem. I do.
I'm doing my part. I was a great father who stood by my kids even to today. I am also a pretty great grandfather and mentor, if I do say so myself.
But I also make mistakes. One of them was ever voting for any Democrat. It turns out, they're almost all Racial-Divisive-Manipulators, corrupt, and almost universally grossly abuse the power of office.
But, back to the OP, America could do far worse than focus on a reformation of Fatherhood, and Marital Courtship.
But I won't say it is a women's problem to fix, I stand by my claim that it is American Men's problem to solve. And it will be a tough road.
Don't casually sow your seed!
Don't ever walk away from wife and children! Fight for them at the cost of your own, until utterly defeated. There is no more important fight in anyone's life.
