It does seem so. I have to wonder how many tune into ESPN to get sports and now get politics, if that doesn't make them unhappy. I like to watch my 2, 2 1/2 sometimes three hours of a Braves game to get away from all of that. If I want politics, I have DP and just about every news media and outlet to get it from. Getting pure sports, now that is becoming a challenge.
Oh well, I can always watch old movies which I enjoy, usually these old 50/60's SciFi and horror movies or go to the history vault which has just put on a three part program about George Washington. If you like history, the history vault is the place to get it. No commercials and no politics. Baseball use to be that way, an avenue to forget your troubles and get away from the real world for a couple of hours. Not anymore.
Thank god for Bela Lugosi, Christopher Lee, Lon Cheney, Boris Karloff, Peter Cushing et al. I suppose I'd better not forget Peter Graves, John Agar and the rest. Good clean fun, no politics.
