MAG: Cash Payment To Iran A Felony...

Obama re paid a debt that was owed to the Iranian government.
How dare he! Why, repaying debts is a felony!

and negotiating deals that keep an unstable government from developing nukes, why that's just unconscionable!

Everyone knows that the government of Iran is evil, and that, therefore, we need to invade and take them over. That strategy worked so well in Iraq that we need to repeat it in Iran. Oh, and in Syria as well, maybe Lybia too.

...using that money to fund a drug running terrorist organization....

That is close, but not quite it. Giving money to drug running terrorists would have been legal. We did, and probably do, support some really bad people for political reasons. However, congress, who is supposed to control the purse strings of the government, said no more aid to the Contras, and part of the purpose of Iran-Contra was to give aid to those same Contras. It is at best of questionable legality. Really questionable. Reagan was not prosecuted for it largely because they could not prove that he in fact knew that the proceeds from the arms sale was going to the Contras. Reagan ran things very loosely in the White House, setting basic goals, and letting his cabinet work towards the goals as they saw fit with little to no supervision.
