You need to understand how your political system works.

It’s a club election. Governed by the bylaws of the club. Not much different that the than The Elks or Knights of Columbus. It’s the club bylaws at work. Biden was the nominee by election, but resigned it. The bylaws stipulate what unfolds if that takes place. Harris is being named nominee in accorded with those bylaws.

Wouldn’t be any different if the Republicans were doing the same.

I had to look a few things up. Few democrats here I think would qualify to be a member of the Elks:

Oh, I'm aware how the party system works. I'm aware that the "bylaws" are being used to the advantage of the Globalists and their Democratic lackeys. I've never said what they are doing is illegal.

I'm saying the Democratic rank and file have had zero say in who they now are able to vote for and it looks like something that would happen in Russia. When Russia presents one person for the citizens to vote for, that is perfectly legal...according to their laws...as well.

I'm saying that the notion that the "Democratic Party" has chosen Harris as their nominee is utterly false.
 
In general, I don't really understand what you need from Russia.
In terms of urban development, poverty reduction, and crime control, Russia has overtaken the United States by many steps.
There are no homeless people on the streets of our cities, because our bank cannot legally take away the only housing with eviction to the street. We don't have stoned drug addicts lying around, because the police are working. We no longer have such a phenomenon as organized crime, gangs, they have either been destroyed, or in prisons, or have fled the country.
Well, you pray for your democracy, where you supposedly choose someone, then you don't know how to let the children go outside
 
As usual, the Dems have done the very thing they accuse the other party of doing. They have circumvented democracy to elect anyone but Trump, with absolutely no worry as to how Biden was pushed out OR more importantly WHY. Was it his health, was it his polling numbers? who cares, and who cares about democracy as long as they get their way.

This is the same problem that created Donald Trump, and it will eventually destroy this country.

No, trying to destroy our democracy (as they like to say we are doing) is the fault of the democrats. It has been seen with policy items that are unconstitutional from Dems for years. Now we actually have an instance where they are circumventing Democracy. Yes, this is why people are willing to vote for a candidate like Trump, as you will not get a washington insider to do anything about it.

You can say many many things about Trump and the GOP, but when he was elected in 2016 NO ONE ON THIS SIDE ever even attempted to circumvent the rules to do so, because his polling was bad. That is a big difference, apparently.

What rules exactly (please post the exact rules with source) are being circumvented here? Are you saying that political Parties should have to keep a candidate on their ticket who dies or becomes deathly, restrictively ill or simply has issues that they know will keep them from properly serving, against the person's will?

The Democrats are doing what they should be doing, to give themselves the best chance of winning the election. It's not an ideal situation for them, but they've been very clever about making the best of it.

Good thing that isn't happening then. If Kamala wins, we will be able to fend off that issue against stuff like Project2025/Agenda47 for another four years, at least. That will stave off attacks on our democracy for a while longer.

I suspect though that the fight against MAGA or its children and their desire to subvert our democracy may be a project that lasts at least as long as I live though.

Hopefully future generations will be more enlightened.
