I was told there's nothing the President can do to affect gas prices.

The Oil companies "won't" drill on the Leases they already have. They buy up the leases to keep other companies who will drill from buying it. SO, they can keep supply low and prices high.

With fuel prices and labor shortages items like bottled water ought to skyrocket. A gallon weighs about 7 lbs, has a big foot print on a truck and then on a shelf. That Kroger has the gallon of water that you want is the miracle of free enterprise.

The vast majority of local markets are selling the same water for 30% less per gallon. You are free to make of that what you will.

. We are spoiled, empty shelves, a recent phenomenon, are bountiful compared to the Venezuela that we are fast tracking toward.

What is odd is that they have crippling inflation in Venezuela, yet their petrol prices are less than $.12 a gallon.

Gouging would be the government prohibiting bottled water in a terminal and the Hudson News (and every other vendor) selling a bottle of water for what you could buy a case for at your local Kroger.

A few times. If all you drink is tap water it's gunna taste fine. I've been drinking distilled for 15 years. Tap water, depending on the area you live, can have all kinds of contaminates in it. Distilled is the purest water on the planet. Your taste bud's would need to be dead to not notice a difference.

We have a whole house two stage water filtration system and use a zero water filtered tank (kept in the refrigerator) for the coffee maker and drinking water. The zero water system is fairly slow, but we don’t use a lot of water at any one time.
