How is Cuba forced into poverty? They can trade with anyone they want, excepting certain businesses in the United States. Can Cuba not be a successful country if blocked from trading with one single country out of the entire planet? It's not the 1960s where US Navy vessels physically blockaded Cuba.

If the people in Cuba don't like their government they can overthrow it the way America did under the British. The Cuban people didn't like Batista so they overthrew him. Despite the fact that our country was founded by a revolution we refused to accept Cuba's revolution. We tried regime change in Cuba with the failed Bay of Pigs. That had nothing to do with human rights. Then we continued to punish Cuba for being socialist for over 50 years.

Again, you don't understand the realities of politics. A government can't remain in power if the vast majority of people are against it. In almost all stable dictatorships, the dictator is in power because a large portion of the population support the government.

If we had enough Trump supporters in this country, we too would be a dictatorship. Should the rest of the world save us by starving us with crippling sanctions?
