This thread shows a piece of rightwing mentality. Now, this may not represent every "D" viewer or why they watch Tucker or Fox News or anyone else, but considering the OP already misrepresents the situation, might as well throw in one reason at least that Ds may watch Tucker Carlson.

When any video is posted here, whoever posted it generally wants others to actually watch it, so that they can see what is being said. So if someone posts about Tucker Carlson, particularly his show, it is generally a good idea to have at least watched some of what he has put out, even if it is just to point out why he is wrong or where others defending him are wrong. Conversations something like this are where this leads:

"You shouldn't comment on Tucker Carlson (what he put out) if you didn't watch his show." <Tucker fan

Person who doesn't care for Tucker watches the show to see what he is putting out and in what context. Finds out they are right about their negative opinion of Tucker, but wants to be informed about that opinion.

Some time later; "See, even Dems must really like Tucker since they are watching his show." < Tucker fan from above
