Not exactly. He expected Antifa to show up and start fighting with his followers. Although trump discussed this at the white house meeting before J6, trump never told the generals that he wanted it to actually happen. He didn't order it, so no paperwork, and no NG.

Why did he mention a NG presence before J6, but refuse to call the NG during the riot?

Nice try, but you are conflating his testimony of the 6th to his testimony of what transpired leading up to the 6th. This does not negate his testimony of bearing witness that those in the Trump administration tried to get NG troops in DC on the 6th....he said, they did.

Maybe an honest mistake or maybe purposefully deceitful, not sure, but you are now corrected.

OP’s opening post wrongly asserted that, on January 6th, 2021, the White House was frustrated by how slow the response to the ongoing attack on Congress by Traitor Trump supporters took.

Very clearly, Ornato’s sworn testimony contradicts the false claim.

"Mr. Ornato's testimony proves what Mr. Meadows has said all along, President Trump did in fact offer 10,000 National Guard troops to secure the U.S. Capitol, which was turned down."

How many times do I have to post this. NG troops have got to be ORDERED to the Capital by the President and no amount of discussions about Guardsman to the Capitol BEFORE the issue is at hand mean ANYTHING. When the issue was actually at hand, Trump DID NOT ACT.

The President had to order troops to the Capital at the point they were needed and in fact at that point Pelosi and Schumer were trying to get the WH to get Trump to issue just such an order.

I doubt this TRANSCRIPT was hidden because there was nothing to hide.

Wrong. The request had to be made. The President can't just deploy troops within the borders. That would be martial law.

the new Senate report faults the agencies for downplaying the known dangers, hesitating in their techniques based on past problems and being averse to more widely sharing what was known.

Peters said the “constant finger-pointing” by those in both the FBI and DHS made it difficult to tell who was responsible for establishing which agency was the lead for coordinating the response to the insurrection.

According to conversations detailed in the Senate report, the FBI wasn’t concerned with the prospect of violence even hours before the attack, despite indications that people were gathering in body armor and with radio equipment. And a senior official at DHS wrote as early as that morning, "There is no indication of civil disobedience."

On the day of the attack, Peters said analysts at the DHS intelligence office were watching the events unfold on TV and “they're wondering, is this a reportable threat?”

And at the point when the issue was at hand the request WAS BEING MADE and Trump did nothing. Have you not seen the video's of Pelosi and Schumer requesting NG troops of the WH at the when the issue was at hand. There is no mulligan for Trump in discussions made before J6. Sorry....does not work that way.

In addition Trump's discussions with Hill Leadership before J6 were in Trump's context of BLM and ANTIFA activists creating the threat at the Capitol. Once again Trump on Earth2, not over here on Earth1.
