I have stopped caring what politicians on the political left say. I care about what they do. Has this man hurt anyone? Has he run his city government conscientiously? Has he refrained from using his power to target the weak and vulnerable? If so, then I do not care that he said he would happily cuckold some anti-gay bigot and sodomize his wife in front of him. Is it tasteless, disgusting and offensive? Yes. Should he resign? No.
