The simple answer is NO, Putin would not of invaded Ukraine, because the disaster of Afghanistan would of never happened and our southern border would still be secure.....the economy would of rebounded after Covid like a kid on a trampoline....up, up and away. Our economy is wholly based upon a strong energy segment, which gives our dollar its' strength and foundation......Biden and the left knows this, which is why they are going after the oil and gas industry in the States. Anyhow, it is true that under Trump, Putin would not likely have invaded Ukraine but not for the reasons you gave but for the fact that Trump was doing everything that Putin wanted done to Ukraine. He was deligitimizing them, he was deligitimizing NATO, and he was keeping Ukraine weak and without any power.

It was the fact that Trump was no longer able to "help" Putin that caused Putin to take this stupid step.
