For the first time fewer than half of people in England and Wales describe themselves as Christian, the Census 2021 has revealed.
The proportion of people who said they were Christian was 46.2%, down from 59.3% in the last census in 2011.
In contrast the number who said they had no religion increased to 37.2% of the population, up from a quarter.

Shall be interesting to watch if this trend continues.

Easy to understand why the trend is happening though.

Doesn't surprise me in the least since Jesus prophesized this very thing would happen in the last days, over 2,000 years ago...

The rise in the Jedi Knights phenomenon came out of the 2001 urban legend spread by chain email. It resulted in there being a claimed 390,127 Jedi Knights in England and Wales in 2001.

Well it will be wokeness run amok.

That said though, given secularist have virtually no children it’s highly likely that this Trend will eventually arrest itself and reverse. In the past secular people who lived in Christian societies had children at the same rate as Christians, this is no longer the case

I’ve been throwing money at my mortgage, succeeding in paying it off 10 years early (just a few days ago), and now it’s the end times. Really bad timing on my part.

God didn’t give two shits regarding multiple world wars, multiple atomic bombs, the holocaust, and all that, but NOW, in some of the most peaceful times in all of human history, NOW is the “last days”?

What absolute fearmongering bullshit.

This is one of the biggest strikes against Christianity there is.
The use of FEAR.
You should be ashamed, but you’re too preprogrammed to see how absolutely absurd such a tactic that is.
