I don't think people have learned the lesson of how to protest effectively versus reacting violently, because the latter already loses the sympathy vote for anyone to care about their cause. Now all people around the country see are people destroying property and protesters burning American flags and flying Mexican flags. It's godawful optics and a terrible result for all affected by the vandalism.

Was it even a less lethal "rubber bullet" or some sort of other non lethal pepperball type of round? She didn't even fall down, so I suspect the latter. Some less lethal ammo can actually incapacitate, and this doesn't seem to be one of those.

I'm trying to be right! If a left winger claims that something is "truth" then who am I, a Trump supporter, to suggest that they're wrong? It doesn't work that way. Left wingers ARE the truth, perfect, infallible and the absolute pinnacle of all the wisdom the world has ever known.

There was a very slight puff on impact so maybe it was a pepper ball? I'd expect the puff to be more pronounced than what I saw, though, if that was what hit her.
