LA immigration protests live updates: 700 Marines deployed to Los Angeles

Challenging me to prove a negative?
I didn’t assert that no sick children, older adults peacefully living here for decades and contributing to their local communities, or people that with active asylum requests were deported.
Only that they weren’t targeted, as Traitor Trump is now doing.
you'd holding Trump to a certain level when it comes to deportations - I'm assuming you held Biden to the same? Show me ... show me where Biden did what you're asking of Trump, it shouldn't be hard.

unless you and the left never asked of Biden what is being asked of Trump - and Biden deported pretty much the same way Trump is. Its just your guy isn't in office and you just want hate/division/violence now ?

List the post numbers, and I’ll go back and review them.
the google is easy

Well it’s like this

You have group a that thinks migrants are
Taking jobs from Americans.
Stealing your tax dollars.
Are an overwhelmingly criminal element.
Eating cats and dogs.
Insert 1000 other stupid excuses here.
They need to be removed be any means necessary and it’s an emergency.
any jobs they have yes, those are jobs American citizens could have.
not stealing - Democrats/Govt literally is spending billions nationwide and that money literally is taxpayer dollars
never said "overwhelmingly" - nobody has
Haitians do eat cats - many nations eat dogs
we could talk about the massive impact on housing, healthcare and education yes
nobody has said " by any means necessary"

but I agree its become a national emergency. Why ? because when there are so many here that they can rise up and riot/loot/commit violence's because they don't like the laws of the country they're in ? huge problem

This is all completely untrue but that doesn’t seem to matter much these days. I place you in this group.

Then you have a group the thinks
We destroyed their countries.
They are mostly hardworking people.
There are very few violent criminals and good riddance to those that are.
They are a large contributor to our economy.
They deserve a pathway to citizenship.
We are a nation of immigrants.

If you truly believe you are in this category of people then I apologize but honestly I see your posts and zero of them reflect an honest assessment in this way. Feel free to post em if you got em. But my opinion stands.

we haven't destroyed - they've destroyed their own and leaving their home countries doesn't help their home countries at all
they might be - we don't know, they come here illegally and unvetted
you don't know who they all are - they didn't care for our system/laws so they broke them and came here anyway
there are contributors - true ... slaves were for plantations in the south too
they can go through the system legally like everyone else is all they deserve
we are a nation of LEGAL immigrants

do you now understand the difference ?

Pro-actively enforcing existing immigration laws was one of the few areas where I supported Traitor Trump during his last term, and continue to support now.

His blackhearted family separation policy then, and his clearly unconstitutional denial of due process and targeting of families with sick children, elderly that have lived here for many decades, etc., now are examples where I vociferously disagree.

As for your Biden deportation references, none compare to what Traitor Trump is doing now.

so you are 100% in favor of breaking our immigration laws and coming to the USA illegally if it benefits the person breaking the laws - just needing clarification because if you don't, it doesn't matter if its a 24 year old Honduran criminal or 45 year old man who has 3 kids

they're both breaking any and every law they can with regards to legal immigration - and enforcing our laws applies equally to them

Not when unemployment is so low. Removing workers in that scenario just drives inflation; it's basic microeconomics. Why not offer paths to citizenship to some instead?
not stealing - Democrats/Govt literally is spending billions nationwide and that money literally is taxpayer dollars
never said "overwhelmingly" - nobody has
And yet somehow the immigration convo on the right always seems to be about deporting, "criminals."
Haitians do eat cats - many nations eat dogs
In Haiti, maybe, where they don't have the access to the food we have available here.
we could talk about the massive impact on housing, healthcare and education yes
Housing: lots of trained housebuilders bring down the cost of new construction; healthcare and education? You realize that immigrants, documented or not, pay taxes and support communities by doing so.
nobody has said " by any means necessary"

Yet, that never seemed to be a problem before. Why would people working to support their families, here and back home, be interested in rioting and violence?

If you are concerned about the treatment of low-cost labor, and we all should be, please link to some of your threads regarding support for labor unions, the minimum wage, the Fair Labor Practices Act, OSHA and the EEOC.
they can go through the system legally like everyone else is all they deserve
Easy to say when the system is broken. But Trump would rather spend resources on performative arrests and brinksmanship. And the administration isn't even giving some people the benefit of going through the system legally. Just deportation to an El Salvadoran concentration camp.

we are a nation of LEGAL immigrants
Great, then make them legal. As happened with @Checkerboard Strangler's parents. You should check out this post: https://debatepolitics.com/threads/...-a-path-to-citizenship.571165/post-1081632818

And don't forget that Trump overnight made a whole slew of immigrants undocumented by revoking their Temporary Protective Status. It's a paper game, when it should be about people.

A shame that you don’t recognize the significant difference between a “24 year old Honduran criminal” and a “45 year old man who has 3 kids”, or the obvious logic of prioritizing locating and deporting the former over the latter.

You do realize even TACO is now in favor of breaking our immigration laws. He now says he wants some illegal aliens to stay and he won't deport them.

I believe the term that the left likes to use for that is “prosecutorial discretion”. They used it all the time with Obama and Biden.

they have - its factual https://www.ice.gov/newsroom

In Haiti, maybe, where they don't have the access to the food we have available here.
you're probably right - although I don't personally care that they eat dogs & cats, both are food sources worldwide

Housing: lots of trained housebuilders bring down the cost of new construction; healthcare and education? You realize that immigrants, documented or not, pay taxes and support communities by doing so.
some do

Yet, that never seemed to be a problem before. Why would people working to support their families, here and back home, be interested in rioting and violence?
because they're not good people - the working hombres aren't in the streets you're right

I support some of that - but that's not the topic. The topic is how liberals outta one side of their mouth talk about fair treatment then outta the other side demand we need millions working here cheap and outside USA labor laws - you see that conflict right ?

In fiscal year 2022, approximately 2.6 million people immigrated to the U.S. through authorized channels

#1 in the world in allowing numbers of legalized immigrants

the system isn't broken , we cannot allow unlimited immigrants by the tens of millions

they don't want to be legal or they'd have legally went through the system - do you not understand that ? and you don't reward criminals/people breaking laws with citizenship - that's crazy talk

its not about USA citizens people is it? illegally here people break all our laws to get/stay here, they DO NOT CARE about USA country or USA citizens or our laws

see, you can't really say that

GOP fights hard to stop abortions - protect unborn life. Democrats don't do that
GOP fights hard to secure the border so that anyone not a citizen coming to the USA does it legally and is vetted first - Democrats don't do that

One of the biggest ironies, is that Democrats fight hard for wages for workers, benefits, time off etc. Except those illegals they want here so badly. Those low income, low educated, low skilled illegal workers they want working for cheap/low wages, outside USA labor laws. Remember historically Democrats were the slave owners, they were the KKK, they were the haters of civil rights ..... and right now? We're seeing the abuse of all the non-citizens in every way from human trafficking to kid abuse to low wages to outside labor laws ... and Democrats are fighting hard to make sure they keep those slavish-laborers. Democrats want slave laborers, they want a system of super low income people doing the manual labor all so they can have cheap tomatoes, avocados and lettuce.

is legal VISA workers legal ?

a simple yes or no will suffice - and for the record, companies do that like Tyson Foods has a program called the Tyson Immigration Partnership (TIP). This program provides free legal services and citizenship assistance to its immigrant workers (often referred to as "team members" by Tyson Foods).

I never said anything about legality. Your post was about " Those low income, low educated, low skilled illegal workers they want working for cheap/low wages"...why do you think Trump wants to hire so many temporary foreign workers?

the entire discussion is illegal immigrants

you want to stop Trump's businesses from using legal non-citizen workers ? do that - eliminate all visa workers if that's your goal

I don't care who anyone hires tbh. But I do want to point out that there are jobs out there that US citizens don't want, and those end up being filled by immigrants of the legal and illegal variety.

How many American citizens do you know who want to pick vegetables or work at a meat packing plant?

I love how you pretend this issue is black and white yet even lord and savior Trump with all his felonies had to acknowledge the problem and stop arresting migrants when his buddies started loosing money. Do you understand the difference? He didn’t but eventually figured it out. You can too. Sad part is he’s just pivoting to harass democrat cities more. He doesn’t actually care about immigration in principle. It’s a tool. Nothing more, nothing less.

I've went from not supporting mass deportation to all out deport every illegally here person.

Why? Because the force is so large then can protest/burn/loot cities and control the streets with force - that's an invasion IMO

How about this - illegally here people have 30 days to self identify and show they've been employed for the last 12 months and they've paid taxes, had licenses, insurance etc

IF they are so beneficial and hardworking and paying their taxes etc .... then find a way to citizenship

IF they don't - deport

How confident are you that the majority are working and have paid their taxes, had licenses, insurance etc ?

You’re making some wild assumptions that protesters are undocumented

You’ve lost the plot to reality. I really have nothing else to say.
